I think it was a semantics issue. You said 'we're in contact' which seems to be more of a present active  thing.  I read it as MU was interested and trying to figure out where he was in the pecking order with transfers.

You can both be right. For the record I enjoy your scouting report tidbits as well.

I said "in contact" and I meant in contact within the past 24 hours. MM rarely posts, but started with 'bad info'. A better move would have been, "they may have been in contact, but they're not going to pursue"... that type of post would have been extremely helpful, fair, relevant, etc...

...but a quick flight in from a rare poster to start with "bad info" and the responses in the thread... unfortunate. But MW may have been lying and MM was 100% correct. If so, daps for calling out MW on the lies and me for believing it. #Source

Maybe Mark Miller will clarify... does he believe MU was in contact as I said, or he still says that's bad info?

If someone responds with a short comment with the word "contact" in it and everyone feels that this word means Marquette is interested in offering a scholarship, why is it surprising that someone would respond with "bad info" if they had heard that there wasn't an interest in offering a scholarship?
