Didn't one of our most recent recruits leave MU without signing, take a visit elsewhere and then STILL commit to Wojo? Was it Markus or one of the new recruits? I can't remember, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

It happens all the time.  The most recent would be Greg Elliot visiting Marquette, unofficially visiting MSU, officially visiting MSU, and then committing to MU.

Yep. It's extremely common. I will say that it does seem like transfers have higher rates of committing while on campus but that is purely anecdotal. I have no idea what the actual numbers are.

Hs kids are different I believe then transfers..transfers have been through it before so they know what to look for etc. I think as a whole you'll find transfers commit much sooner than HS kids do.

Head coach no matta?
Head Coach is important . However a transfer has already by definition had his prior coach sell him a bill of goods, so the transfer going to rely more on his own assessment of players chemistry as it relates to his playing time and upside potential. These kids today all know each other.

Sam visited Virginia and then committed to MU shortly after.

This generation is so selfish.  Don't these guys realize what an inconvenience it is for me to have to check this site everyday to see if anyone committed? Damn kids, make a decision!

Given that this is the second concussion in a relatively short period of time, there is cause for concern for the Young Mans long term health if he were to get another one.

I've had lots of concussions in my life.  I'm fine.

It appears that Mark Smith will be choosing Illinois over Michigan St which makes me quite happy. After Greg Elliot committed all my MSU friends were pulling the old "we didn't want him anyways, we're getting Mark Smith".

Just goes to show, Wojo owns Izzo

Mark smith committed to Illinois today, msu losing out on some guys

Iowa State lost out on their #1 target...the #1 JUCO PF in the country..who committed to UNLV today. That means they will push HARD for a commitment from Morrow. That's why i didn't want him leaving MU without committing.

What's a short period of time? Heard the leading expert in concussions say that he cleared a person who had 10 back to play. Everyone is different.

The obvious (MU has been in contact, as I said, but that Mark Miller said was "bad info").

Not a lot of reasons to post info on here, really. <shrug>
