How can you have a big spring when the key recruits go elsewhere now.  It is one thing to pick up one player in spring which has been done lately, but as MU has
found out in spring, it is not easy.  They lost out on at least 4 of the top players the last 2 years in spring.  Time is now, and Wojo is confident, of course, he has to be.

Traci Carter, Sacar Anim and Markus Howard were all spring commitments.  It is hardly unheard of. 

If we get two out of four, I don't think we will have any trouble finding a guy to take the last scholarship.  Hell, if we get 2 out of 4 and a transfer out, I don't think we'll have trouble finding two guys.

You seem to challenge me all the time, lets see out of the Top 100 kids how many sign in fall.  Yes, in the Top 10, there are some who wait because they want to see
who is going pro at the Kentucky, Duke, Kansas and a few others.  JC kids wait a little to and grad transfers, of course.  But you have spent a great deal of time with
the 4 kids who are visiting now in summer.  I know that Tillman has already been to MU awhile ago and I am sure the others have been here as well.  There is always
Plan B, but that really is not easy.

It would be better if Herro and Hauser make a decision early in the process so you do not have to waste all next summer running after them.  You have built a long
relationship with both, not sure many others.  The reason I bring this up is that the 4 kids above have had the same treatment.  You only have so much money to
follow kids if even MU is like #2 in the country with there recruiting budget.  Have to sign some kids now.

Markus, of course, was a different situation as he reclassified from 2017 to 2016.  As such, he is an even earlier early bird.

I wouldn't go that far. If only one commits that's still two fall commits for a four man class. I'd be fine with that especially if the one is Xavier Tillman. Plenty of time to get two more by spring (plus transfer season). If we strike out on all four I'd be disheartened but all would be forgiven if we have a big spring.

Agreed. Especially regarding "if the one is Xavier Tillman." Land him and it'll be a successful class. I'd love John or French, but they're icing compared to X-Man.

Ummm, no. Not new at all. Don't post much but have been reading for years.  I'm quite familiar with BD, but I've never known him to be cryptic. In fact, when he has dropped info he has basically come right out and said it.  That is why I don't understand why we should be reading something into him telling everyone to have a great weekend. 

I hope he is cryptically saying something positive about TJ, but I just figured he added Theo to his handle as a good luck charm like he and others did with Hank.

From on Big to another Big,  I am never going to steal a kids thunder, so unless I am specifically told to share something I am not going to.  I know you understand that. So enjoy your weekend and lets plan on a good/great next few weeks.  You don't have to look for updates/news on recruiting this weekend.
