Speaking with trusted college sources, No. 101-ranked Akol Nyok of Miami Columbus is somebody that could make a leap during his senior year. He's skinny and raw offensively, but coaches love his motor and activity as a shot blocker and rebounder who is emerging as a dangerous lob threat. We had been expecting him to take a visit to Georgia but are now expecting a decision — possibly before the end of the week. As it stands, Virginia Tech is in a good spot with Marquette trying to make a race of it.
