Nice form on his shot, big kid for a sophomore.

Once he gets here his shot will suffer due to lack of mid range

CBP profile my people who landed here over 100 yrs before Mayflower. Most I've had to deal with are ignorant & low IQ.

Jonah Aidoo who was the leading scorer for Arkansas today was a commitment for Mu I believe when Wojo got fired.  He reopened his recruitment at that time.

Yes, he was part of Wojo's last recruiting class.

Big Papi

Wojo was a very good recruiter.  If only he would have hired an assistant who could coach games for him.

Zog from Margo

Aidoo averages under 7 PPG as a senior. He shoots 0% from 3. He rebounds better than Gold but not by all that much. He also left UT for the money bag. He had a big game last night. I'm not convinced he'd have made a huge difference at MU. Those who thought he was the reason to keep Wojo around were mistaken.

I feel like Shaka could have done great things with him. Although, I have to remember that probably would not have allowed Oso to blossom like he did.

MU82

Had Aidoo agreed to stay and perform his role well, he'd have helped Marquette, sure.

But he wanted big money and a major role. He has done little in his career to suggest he has earned either.

I might question the judgement of a player who was that invested in Kyle Neptune.

Marquette was really interested last spring too.

He did very nicely on a stacked team at Tennessee. To be fair, his performance this season was greatly affected by surgery on his foot for a stress fracture last summer. He has played well in recent weeks.

Statistically, he hasn't been much if any better than Gold over his career and he's a senior. Would he have helped? Sure, but his production has shown that his recruitment by MU was overhyped.

18/8 last four games, better post player then Gold, but his overall career has been nothing special

Its more about his defense at Tennessee. He was a force.

MU82

I'd have liked to have had Aidoo as Oso's understudy and for use in an occasional twin-towers look against Big opponents, and as a rotational piece this season so Shaka could have gone with the hot hand. Maybe Aidoo would have gotten more PT than Gold, and maybe he wouldn't have.

Or maybe Oso would have transferred had Aidoo stayed. Or maybe Gold wouldn't have signed here. Or maybe Aidoo would not have accepted anything but a guarantee that Shaka didn't feel he could give him.

We don't know everything that went on here re Aidoo. I, for one, was thrilled with Oso the last two seasons.
