I agree with that list.  It will be 2 guards and a forward for sure (although not necessarily a PG and a SG).  If Kai Rogers wants in we take 4 and one of the developmental bigs on the roster will look elsewhere.  Otherwise, we sign just 3.

He said the word "great" 5x in his comments about Marquette, 3x regarding Rutgers, and only once for Georgia Tech. Marquette wins!

Glad that Marquette is a contender for so many high-level recruits. Louisville is a much easier drive than Milwaukee, but MU is close enough that his family and friends could attend games.

It is weird to me too but Presidents and Athletic Directors do whisper in my ear. This is not that. This text is from someone who has given me great information in the past. He would not tell me his source but he did tell me if Adrien Stevens had to pick today he would pick Marquette. With Kam being a pro in 2025-2026 Marquette will need another shooter and Adrien Stevens is a shooter.

No. A simple way to think about it is if they were eligible in 2020-21, they have an extra year. Stevie and Jop started in 2021-22. The last two who qualified for MU were Tyler and Oso.

The list will get much, much shorter after next year. 2024-25 will be fifth year players who were 2020-21 freshmen. The only players eligible for a COVID year in 2025-26 will be players who played as freshmen in 2020-21 and used an effective redshirt in a subsequent season.
