Hopefully more honest than Patrick Reed.

Put them in a blender and you end up with Donna Reed somehow

Your argument here is that

Tarris Reed 6'10" 9ppg 7.2 rpg (52.1 eFG) on 26.6 mpg BPM  +0.4

is the same caliber player as

Donovan Clingan 7'2" 13ppg 7.4 rpg (64.3 eFG) on 22.5 mpg  BPM +15

This is why everyone here thinks you're an idiot, man.  They're not the same player.  They're the same age, and there is a reason one of them is a lottery pick and the other is not.
No my argument is that UConn is widening the gap and he is an example. Read my friend
And as far as your insult, potato brain, not very original. But you are typical of "everyone here". When somebody points out something that is contrary to your narrow belief system, the insults and name calling starts.

I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

I'll be honest, my guess is Reed comes in as the backup to Samson Johnson. And I was very skeptical of Johnson coming into the year, but he proved his worth as a high-major player. Reed certainly doesn't replace Clingan, not remotely.

I agree with this and others do as well. They see Reed as a 20 min a night guy. https://twitter.com/GoodmanHoops/status/1780627392081387728

So your argument is UConn is widening the gap because they signed a guy who won't even start?

And you see this as an intelligent argument?

Potato brain, grammar school... yikes.

I guess it is a good sign when people are now anxious over whether MU is keeping up with the best program in the country. Quite a change from only a few years ago.

I give this post 4 🫏 out of 5

Reed has been barely average as a player as pointed out but you don't address that and claim this UConn distancing themselves from the league by adding him.  It isn't.

Then you cry about personal insults when you routinely insult players and coaches left and right.  The lack of self-awareness is astounding.

Due to your lack of rectal usage in your post, I can only give it the 4 🫏

Speaking of Reed and reading-- I can't wait to read more about where we stand with the current 2025 recruits

Ian Militec
Nigel James
Adrien Stevens
Jamarion Bateman
Amari Allen

You might want to add Amari Allen to that group. Seems MU has interest.

Willie saw "transfer" and "Michigan" and just assumed he's going to come in and be the next Clingan. Fascinating take.

Joplin, Jones, and Mitchell shoes to fill.   In fact, the 25-26 season could be a bigger transition.  I, too, am curious about the next recruits.  If Langenfeld comes to MU, does he occupy the same space as Miletic?   The outside the box and unexpected Langenfeld interest creates a lot of questions.

Miletic is 6'7", 180 as a high school junior, so I think if you project him out a few of years he's going to be more of a combo forward than a big guard like Langenfeld.

Yes.  I view Miletic as a Joplin replacement.  Not starting as a frosh, but growing into a similar role longterm.

Lewis, James, Stevens, and Batemon would be the Kam and Stevie replacements.  (And Kam is picking up some of Kolek's PG duty next year.  So they'd kind of be replacing Kolek & Kam at PG, and Kam & Stevie at SG.)

My dream 2025 class:
- Nyk Lewis
- Adrien Stevens
- Amari Allen

More realistic from the sounds of it:
- Nyk Lewis
- Adrien Stevens
- Ian Miletic

I would be absolutely thrilled with either, and it seems like Shaka has put in the work to be in pole position with the second trio.

Lewis, Stevens, and Miletic would be my top choice.  Miletic > Allen for me because he's a better shooter.  Love how Ian's elite would shooting complement Lewis, Stevens, Owens, and Parham.

Saw the Maxi Langenfeld hubbub yesterday.

According to Marquette sources, there is no visit scheduled and it seems unlikely that he will be a #mubb target.

I just want to point out that an average player with a bad coach can become a very good player with a great coach.

So...Kolek?

Or how about a nobody to a great player, like OMax or Oso?
