Is this guy even a possibility? Seems like KU or Texas would be his destination.

Would Shaka even go after a guy who backed out of a letter of intent 4 months after he signed it where there wasn't a coaching change?

Great player.   Culture.   Would Shaka recruit over Owens and Parham with the 13th scholarship?

I have no inside information, and won't name any names of candidates, but I would say that there is a 95% chance that MU has more than one more scholarship available going into next season. Whether it be a player turning pro or  entering the transfer portal or any other reason, it seems likely that at least one player on the projected roster will not be here.

Cam's taking that Memphis NIL bag for his last year in college

If he leads us to a National Title, I would have zero issue with Tyler Kolek playing a final year of his eligibility for either his hometown Providence (remind them of what they missed out on for 3 years) or to get massive Mike Repole NIL 💰 from St John's and play regularly at MSG, under the brightest of lights.

Right now, for his own sake, and selfishly for Marquette's, all any of us want is for him to be at his healthiest for this upcoming NCAA run!

I "C" what you did there. A penny for your thoughts immaculately conceived.

That's the beauty of Scoop.

Socratic method. Question everything.

Seriously, TKO leading us to an NCAA banner would leave him three options. Yes, his NBA stock would rise a bit, but would his 24-25 earnings potential be maximized by going early 2nd round? Ok maybe I was joking about the Providence part. Probably not even plausible. St John's NIL money, however, is about to skyrocket with Mike & Rick committed to whatever-it-takes. Stranger things have happened. Anyone here see Cooley to Georgetown happening? Unless Trilly Donovan is a Scooper, I doubt it.

Just bored on a rainy late winter afternoon. And going crazy worrying about Tyler, Stevie, Kam, Oso, and Chase all getting and staying healthy for this upcoming glorious run of connected precision basketball!!

Self still paying for players - at least now it's legal.

I'd put the odds of Tyler transferring AT ALL as similar to the odds that Shaka leaves Marquette this off season to take a position at Pepperdine.

It was known for some time that Cooley had interest in the Georgetown job.

Milwaukee...or Malibu? Shaka gone

Boston Warrior

It isn't about recruiting over Owen's and Parham. Why speculate now on the who? Always be recruiting! Plenty of room for improvement and to get better.

Penny might as well give Kam his salary next year...only way he keeps his job.

Wonder if Parham and Owens were at the game?

Kam keeps playing this way, he won't need it, he is going to shoot up in the mock drafts.  He's close to 30 a game in I believe his last six and had 9 assists tonight.

He does this on the upcoming big stage, watch out.

Kam should go through the draft process this off-season and get feedback. He doesn't have the athleticism to play the 2 in the NBA and would get eaten up defensively.

If he can add the kind of distribution he showed today to his game consistently that could change things.

I fully expect he'll be back but obviously I could be very wrong.

Goal is National Championship

We R Final Four

Is Shaka looking at anyone on Nicolet or Thomas More?
Both teams are in the state tournament and on TV later this week. Thank you in advance.

Hannah on Nicolet has an offer but MU doesn't seem to be investing much in that recruitment. Shaka took a look at Konneh about a year ago but apparently passed.

JTJ3

Both STM kids are more mid major level.  Maybe transfer up candidates in a few years if they improve.

Hannah has an offer but the staff clearly prefers other wings, like Adrian Stevens and Kelvin Odih, so Ill trust their judgement there.  Hannah has all the tools you want in a wing but is still very inconsistent in a lot of areas when Ive seen him play.

Strokin 3s

Not really inside knowledge but heard Hannah might prefer to get out of state.

MUfan12

If MU gets a local kid I think it'll be Batemon.
