I hope he chooses MU, but it would be interesting to see the reaction to him choosing Pitt, being that he's not close to a top 50 guy.

The quote everyone is bagging on was poorly worded but directionally accurate from a Pitt fan's perspective.  Capel has seen several of his 3 star recruits transfer out after he developed them, so the thinking for Pitt fans is that if they're taking a high school kid, he should be good enough to play right away.  We are lucky that Shaka hasn't had to deal with that yet.

You're not interpreting that right. It's him saying that people are "crazy" if they think ND is "amazing" in any way.

As a College Recruit

Royce Parham has a big frame and a stand-out motor. What strikes you quickly is the purpose with which he runs the floor on both ends. He has excellent hands, both on the block or catching on the move. His touch, and confidence, extend beyond the three-point line, and he can put it on the floor for one and two dribbles. Parham is a good athlete with very natural and fluid movements. His frame also looks like it is not done growing. He comes from significant basketball genes as his mom is the career blocked shots leader at Penn State. Young for his grade, there is still time for him, and his ceiling is very high. Monitor his development closely; there are a lot of natural tools working in Parham's favor.

Sean Miller Fan is in the pantheon of dumbass message board posters.  He'd put Scoop to shame with the idiocy he was spewing there (said Parham should pass on all of the 4 finalists and just commit to Duquesne, then try and prove that he's a HM talent and transfer into a better program when he's shown he's good enough).
