Janowski to the mayor...

Saw the plethora of guards ahead of him and knew he would struggle to find minutes.

If Kon does not go to UW, there will be so many sadgers. Will be collecting all the tears.

"Another guy who appears to be on the verge of a spring breakout is small forward Caden Diggs of New World. At 6-foot-6 he is a bouncy and tough slasher who will elevate in traffic to put it on a big man's head. He hit multiple pull-up jumpers from the mid-range and has a motor that runs nonstop. Diggs told 247Sports that he's seen the campuses of Virginia Tech (Mike Young was watching), Richmond (assistant on hand) and Marquette. Seton Hall's Shaheen Holloway was keeping tabs and he also drew an assistant from Xavier who has offered. With at least 20 high major programs on hand, he's bound to pick up more attention really soon."

Interesting Shaka has been at all of Isaiah Abrahams games.  I would have assumed Damarius Owens' commitment would have taken that spot since they have such similar games.

Watching him chill on the bench. He's out with a minor injury.

From On 3

4-star SG Joson Sanon has visit in mind
Joson Sanon is the No. 4 player in the 2025 On3 75. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard is starting to have his recruitment pick up. Class of 2025 players cannot take official visits until August 1. Already, Sanon says that Marquette is a program he wants to see more about.

"Their guards," Sanon said. "He bases his offense around the guards, and he gives them the freedom to make plays."

Sanon is playing up in age on the 17u level with the Expressions program. He is averaging 13.5 points through the first two games of the session

Is Marquette recruiting someone out of Atlanta?

Sources tell me Cody Hatt is trying to bring someone in from out in those parts

He's the number 4 player in the country but is a 4 star?

Rankings are a little all over.

On3: #4 (5-star)
Rivals: #12 (5-star)
247 Sports Composite: #25 (5-star)
247 Sports Internal: #39 (4-star)
ESPN: #39 (4-star)

On3 is highest and does have him as a 5-star, but I would guess they are looking elsewhere for the star rating but picking the highest overall ranking in the tweet. Definitely a little confusing.

eybl is in atlanta this weekend... so technically, every coach recruiting the event is "trying to bring someone" from atlanta.

Marquette offered Nigel James a 2025 PG from Cushing academy, the same Prep School as Chase Ross.  Has an offer from Creighton from last November, as well as St. Joe's and UAB.

This Session for U-16 Expressions he is averageing 15.3pts, 7.8Rbds, and 5.3 assists. His team is 4-0. One more game tonight.

Not sure if people are interested, but the EYBL streams all their games on Twitch. Pretty interesting to watch different players

I wonder if it is easier now after being Coach of the Year?  I bet kids will listen to his speech!

That's a big understatement. Shaka could sign a hundred kids to play for Marquette. There are thousands of high school players that want to play college ball, especially for an elite university and coach.
