I'm good on the family thing for a while.  The players we got out of the recent packages were fine, but sure seems like they were followed by more drama than they were probably worth.

Are we in on any junior college players?

Seen all 3 of these kids play multiple times against my brothers high school, Shaka needs to recruit Kon hard, kid is Sam Hauser Jr

He has awful hair, for that reason I'm out.

I watched a bunch of highlights.  Looks like a solid player, but I'm shocked that he's borderline top 50 in the country.

I post rarely but follow Scoop regularly to find out what is going on.  Permit me a suggestion.  What would Scoopers think if there is a separate thread for each recruiting year, instead of one for all? Just an idea for those of us who like to keep track of progress by year.  Thanks.

Hahaha. Sorry buddy, that is the pain and reward of following a Scoop thread! Sifting thru all the b.s. posts is a right of passage! 😂🤣

True - and occasionally you'll find an entry that pertains to the thread title.

Not sure Kon can play defense at the level Shaka wants.  Much better fit for wojo like team.  I'm not sold on the whole package.  His defense is atrocious

Bryce Lindsay, 6'3" combo guard out for Baltimore who had an offer from Marquette, has de-committed from South Carolina.
MU wasn't one of his three finalists, though.

It would shock me if anyone that had decided Frank Martin would be a good coach for them would then decide someone like Shaka was a better fit (or vice versa).  Unless of course they had a bad experience after committing to one or the other.

Talk about contrasting styles!

Agreed.  Beamon and Mccottry are the instate kids im watching for our 2024 class.  Janowski as well to possibly replace Kolek.

Mccottry is very good, not sure if Beamon will be a high major player definitely a good player though

They recruited over him once already. I doubt he'll be given a real look.

I am really hoping Kon comes to MU just so I can change my MUScoop username to Shaka Kon.

Assuming Lewis goes pro (if he's in first round mocks, he really should) I'd be thrilled with 5 new starters. Talent wins. We don't have much.

At least 2 or 3.  Let Kam and Oso come off the bench for another year.

2023 needs to be a great recruiting class.

Don_Kojis

Looks like Mitchell is a better point guard than Kolek.   Oso looked like he didn't know what to do.   Lewis was flat footed many times on rebounds and just watched while on the court.   I would bring kolek off bench.   Need some clutch players .
