Day-o, day-o
Daylight come and we want go home
Day, is a day, is a day, is a day, is a day, is a day-o
Daylight come and we want go home
... Work all night on a drink of rum
(Daylight come and we want go home)
Stack banana 'til the morning come
(Daylight come and we want go home)
... Come Mister tally man, tally me banana
(Daylight come and we want go home)
Come Mister tally man, tally me banana
(Daylight come and we want go home)
... Lift six foot, seven foot, eight foot bunch
(Daylight come and we want go home)
Six foot, seven foot, eight foot bunch
(Daylight come and we want go home)
... Day, is a day-o
(Daylight come and we want go home)
Day, is a day, is a day, is a day, is a day, is a day-o
(Daylight come and we want go home)
... A beautiful bunch of ripe banana
(Daylight come and we want go home)
Hide the deadly black tarantula
(Daylight come and we want go home)
... Lift six foot, seven foot, eight foot bunch
(Daylight come and we want go home)
Six foot, seven foot, eight foot bunch
(Daylight come and we want go home)

Most importantly he was offered lots of playing time .

Call me crazy but the writer from Vandy247 projecting a recruit to join Vandy, after previously getting a vandy recruit incorrect this year, while Dia is still planning on visiting Marquette seems like a weak crystal ball projection.

(Even though his recruitment is clearly Vandy vs MU)

Doesn't say much about Shaka if he's losing recruits to Vanderbilt

Too many unanswered questions regarding Mysterious Malik. Is he really announcing 9/8 as stated by a poster on Dodd's site? No source quoted. Is he visiting Marquette and if so, when? Again- source? He finally has a crystal ball prediction but the confidence level of the person who predicted Vandy is 5 on a scale of 1-10 and, as noted by another poster, the guy is 0-1 on his Vandy predictions.

Since the final decision is, as always, the teen bball player's alone I would not read too much into it if he  chooses Vandy vs. Marquette. It would be disappointing if we do not land him but to me, that does not = failure by Shaka.
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

I'm not one to use the "Shaka cooled on him" excuse, but I think Shaka cooled on him.

Nashville is a beautiful city. We lost recruits to Vanderbilt before.

It's under the radar but MU is in for Austin Nunez and is probably in his top two or three. I expect him to go to ASU though, hes on an OV there this weekend.

I never knew what that song meant till now . A lot of hard and dangerous work picking those bananas .

It actually is very hard work.  I visited a banana plantation in Panama and because they get paid piecework, the pickers literally run (sometimes hundreds of yards) into the field, throw a huge bunch of bananas on their back, and run back to where they drop the bananas off.  When I was there, it was probably 90 degrees with 80% humidity.
Have some patience, FFS.
