Hope we can land this kid.  Well timed news at UofA, that is for sure.

Would definitely help improve the current 21 class that is a little underwhelming currently, IMHO.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I believe the current phrase has been adjusted to skin flute

The skin flute won't sound as flat if we land this kid

Hopefully that is the day you start your journey back to reality.

But I doubt it.

Guys keep it recruiting. There's more than a few threads teetering on politics for you 4ever to post stuff like that on.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

I phucking love MUScoop.

That's funny, I was thinking the exact opposite

Not sure if a scooper owns this account, https://twitter.com/GoldenEagles_MU, but this account seems to be very down about Holmes announcement.

Warrior84

Crystal Ball is now trending to Dayton.  The 100% expert has switched to the Flyers.  What is going on?

Warrior84

Wow.  All of the experts who had picked MU have flipped.  I think we just lost out to Dayton.

Damn you, Obi.

I could definitely see him being featured as soon as he gets to Dayton so I can't blame him. Seems like he's going for that Toppin player development

Galway Eagle

Wow if only we'd joined the A10 like UDPride told us

Committing to Dayton without a visit there?
Good luck with that...

This might be a main reason Holmes chooses Dayton. I'm guessing Dawson, Oso, and Justin are back next year so he would fight for minutes whereas he's likely to be the main feature at Dayton.

Nothing against him and I wish him well, but it does make sense.

With Cain and John graduating I feel like the team may be playing more of the trending 'position less' basketball with tall guards and forwards. He could find a role, but you're right. He's got a a handful of guys the same size to compete with. Would love the kid at MU, but hopefully we can land John's replacement in Mac Etienne and a shooter.

PGsHeroes32

I guess we will see.

My guy made it clear he did not think Holmes was coming here but I got quite the impression it was Zona that we were losing out to as per my post.

Crazy that it's looking to be Dayton.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Not sure what this is supposed to mean, but Dayton actually has a very nice campus, great athletic facility and a completely rehabbed stadium with an incredible (albeit annoying as an opponent) fan base. Now, the city is not so great, but the campus/basketball facilities are very good.

Pretty sure we still do.
This may be a rare instance in which not getting a kid on campus benefited the school. Still, someone ought to inform DaRon than going to Dayton means he'll have to live in, you know, Dayton.

Extremely sad story about freshman basketball player Michael Currin:
https://www.fox19.com/2020/09/20/moeller-hosts-prayer-service-support-critically-injured-graduate-michael-currin/
Found laying in the street after "falling" out of the back of a pickup truck just off campus.
Walking from dorm on campus to nearby restaurant - found over a mile in opposite direction.
Driver and (2) others inside (locals, not students) took off - busted by street cameras and were called in long after the incident by police.
Absolutely great kid, the kind any parent would want - no alcohol in system.
A lot of people are obviously convinced that he didn't get in the bed of that pickup without being forced.
Sure UD media relations doesn't want any of this out...
