Hopefully he just isn't usin' us ta evaluate how he fits inta Nova's style of play, hey?

Maybe it's just a visit to see if he wants to be drafted 30 by the Bucks.

Mane would be such a huge get. Was always my first choice over RJ, but nothing really seemed to be happening on that front(other than Wojo visiting him). Long ways off yet for a visit, but let's hope being around NBA players like that makes him commit. Not many other schools can offer an opportunity like that the way MU can.

Yes he is the 2020 CG from Montreal. 247 Composite has him as a 3 Star but Rivals and 247 Internal have him as a 5 Star. So I'm guessing some places don't have him ranked since he's from Canada.

Release point on his shot looks a little low, would also like to see more dimes on a PGs mixtape. But that body control, speed, and athleticism? Damn. Sign me up

Ps: I also like the sound of Kendall Brown with an early commit to MU. If Garcia chooses MU hopefully him and Justin Lewis can use the USA b-ball connection to help bring him in.

USA bball connection? Bruh, Dawson and Kendall are D1 Minnesota teammates.

The low-ish motion reminds me a bit of Coby White, but apparently the Bulls didn't have any problem with it. 6'5" guards can still get their shots off. Let's go get 'im!

He is the "premier" "athletic" combo guard in this class......Period.....

Would be a great "get" in the tradition of "Rivers" and "Wade".......Long way to go to get to that level.....But that will be where comparisons will go once he jumps over someone....

This isn't fair to the kid, but there looks to be a lot of D Wade in his game. The two handed block in the video was a tribute to No. 3.  Would be an amazing get; it's tough though that we'll be waiting until the spring signing period.

From Jeff Borzello at ESPN

Indiana welcomes top remaining target

Indiana shored up its wing and perimeter depth fairly early in the 2020 cycle, landing in-state guards Anthony Leal and Trey Galloway and New England prep product Jordan Geronimo. But coach Archie Miller still wanted a point guard and a frontcourt asset. While the Hoosiers haven't had success with the point guard situation yet, they have been in strong pursuit of 2021 five-star Khristian Lander, and he's a candidate to reclassify. As for the frontcourt, Indiana is squarely in the mix for Dawson Garcia (No. 44) -- and he will be in Bloomington this weekend. Garcia has played his cards pretty close to the vest, but he's focused on Indiana, Marquette, Minnesota and Memphis. He went to Marquette last winter and has been to Minnesota and Memphis in recent weeks. Indiana has stayed in a decent position for him throughout the fall but is likely playing catch-up to Marquette heading into the visit. Can the Hoosiers flip things in their favor?

Prediction: Marquette
Confidence level: 50%
Others in the mix: Indiana, Minnesota, Memphis

This concerns me as well..however his recruitment has been a bit odd to this point. Has only taken one other official and that was to Maryland back in June. The fact that he's coming to MU is a HUGE boon to their chances. Plus, I'm not 100% certain on this but I'm guessing Wojo or an asst have been in more to see him than anyone else.

Was looking at a Maryland site not too long ago and they don't believe they are still involved with Mane. Not certain that's the case, but when he decided to open up his recruitment wider, they believed they were out.

See that's just it Brew, I'm not sure anyone is truly totally involved like MU is right now. Of course that can always change, but if MU is this far out ahead of everyone else, that's a great sign. The likely worry for most(and maybe even MU) is that he skips college altogether and goes right to the NBA.

He said he plans to enroll in college next year. There are a number of programs that have been in to visit him within the last couple of weeks. Plenty of teams are involved.

He has been on an official to Maryland.....

We will be his second with no others announced at this point.....

Think as big a get as Koby from 2 years back....

I can't even remember the other "candidate transfers" from that year.....

Prediction......Koby will minimally be 2nd team all Big East this year.....

If Koby is BE second team this MU squad is a top 15 ranked and top 4 seed type of team with Elite 8 capabilities. I'm not quite there yet until I see him play some games. Imo he is the biggest question mark and key to a successful season outside of the obvious healthy Markus

McEwen is a lock for some sort of BE honor.  He will be a key contributor this year, and will take a ton of pressure off of Markus.  Would love to see us land the Canuck.

It's not as good as a Chicago hot dog.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

We hadn't been involved for a while but PJ Hall committed to Clemson. Had an offer though I never heard much after that.

Fedonta White, one of MU's 2021 targets commits early. He's staying home at New Mexico. Not often the Lobos get a top 75 recruit.

Was a long member of the Chicago Bears Scout board and then Dodds merged....

I guess my "lack of writing style" is unique.....

Needless to say they are a bunch of "leisure boat stripping, winey, wish they were Chicago biatches"......Nothing but luv......

I just don't see how he is a lock for anything. I just hope he can play.
