Legit Question, why does it seem that everyone uses 247's rankings when there's perfectly good composite rankings site?      https://sites.google.com/site/rscihoops/home
If you can't be an athlete, be an athletic supporter.

MuMark

247 also has a composite ranking along with their own rankings.

247 updates more often and includes rankings outside the top-100. For RSCI, 101 is the same as 401 and you only get fall and final rankings. Plus, I feel 247 is a lot more user friendly.

As a couple on here hypothesized, Jalen Terry has heard from Marquette, per Evan Daniels.

He's taking an official to LSU, will visit Louisville, was seen in-school by DePaul and Oregon, and has heard from Providence, Ole Miss, Washington, MUBB, Pitt, California, Iowa State - per Terry's father.  Would be awesome to get him on campus.

My pipe dream would be Mane and Garcia, but Terry wouldn't be far behind.

Most 17 year olds do need to develop.  He's worked out with Markus's brother, and Markus has put on a lot of muscle in his time at Marquette.  Hopefully we'll see that from Osa before he even gets to campus next year.

2021 small forward Kendall Brown taking an official to Marquette this weekend.  Ranked #21 in the class out of Wichita.

I believe he is originally from MN and has done USA Basketball stuff (where Dawson Garcia and Justin Lewis have been).

Hopefully he announces a commitment press conference for Monday morning...

Correct. Played for East Ridge in Woodbury. Same team as Ben Carlson, a Badger Commit. His older brother is a freshman at UWM.

That could definitely work to MU's advantage if he wants to be close to his brother.

Crazy good athlete, finishes aggressively at the rim and extremely quick for his size.  Would love to see him in Blue and Gold.  Interesting to see he was on the same team as Dawson Garcia during the Battle of the Lakes in Minnesota this summer.  All the more reason I would love to see DG on MU as well.

A super star in the making.

Video shows that he has range out to three.

Not many 6'9 players can beat their man off the dribble from the arc for drives to the basket and/or pull up for jump shots.  And as his other YouTube videos showed he can play the 5 when his high school coach needed him to.  In fact one of the few players I ever saw who was just as effective playing with his back to the basket while also having the ability to play the perimeter with three point range was Rasheed Wallace.

Of course Dawson Garcia has a very similar body and game to Oso.  Watching them play together creating match-up nightmares for opponents would be very fun to watch.

With RJ Davis going elsewhere it leaves an opening for Dexter Akano and Greg Elliot to possibly show the world we're better off without RJ as they are both bigger and more athletic than he is.  They both can shoot too but maybe not at the level RJ can but they should both be far superior defensive options to RJ as well.

In addition we should be able to land Tyrese Hunter in 2021 which will space out the classes of high quality guards and will help minimize playing time issues and transfers from developing if we had landed RJ.

We can live without getting Dawson Garcia but I think we need to get him at the same time to give the program a buzz with a super sized roster of talent to help offset Wojo's coaching woes.

Kendall is special. Also a D1 MN kid.

Family always have a great vibe; would love to see him wind up in Milwaukee a few miles from his bro.

Two top 100 forwards in the fold for 20-21.    Symir is a top 50 player at the point.    We need more players, obviously and always.     But the sky is not falling.

Wojo is fishing in the right pond, high school players between 20-100 rankings, your going to win some and lose some, it happens.  If Howard has a great year and MU does, winning will help Wojo get more exposure.  No one can say the facilities are not the best, they are.  Has a lot to sell. If Brown comes in to visit and the Bucks are in town opening night, I am sure they will take him to game, has to be impressed.

Have you heard anything at all concerning him and Marquette Jay Bee?

Yep

But importantly, a lot of articles say "small forward"... but the ball handling & athleticism & length are there - can play multiple positions. I'd see him as a 3-2 in college and would sell him on a path as a versatile SG in the pros
