It’s always six degrees of separation with your recruiting.

It's more like he gets unnaturally attached to some recruits

RJ Davis and Osasere Ighodaro are mentioned. Also Lance Ware but I'm not sure we're involved anymore.

I'm willing to bet Davis and Ighodaro are 2 of the top 4 for the remaining scholarships.  Maybe 2 of the top 3 left.

We need to throw everything we possibly can into the RJ Davis recruitment to convince him to come for an official. Have been following this young man for several years and he is the real thing. A classic NYC guard who is a game changing player. Obviously the blue bloods have figured this out.  We still have a pathway though as some of the other elite guards are also being pursued by the Blue Bloods, have to hope the other kids commit first and take the blue blood spots . Then MU can fight it out to be the best of the rest. We need to get him on campus and spending time with our guys for that to happen.

Ighodaro is the pogo stick type we have been wanting for a long time. Our key to closing with him is to demonstrate that MU is his most direct path to prosperity.  The competition for this recruit is strong but can be beaten with a compelling upside message.

It's as deep as it is wide, 6 inches.

I would 100% be on board with Herman only fixating on one recruit every summer.  I'm somewhat surprised we're not yet getting updates on Diener or Mac's kids.
I'll stick with my opinion on Gold.  He'll be in foul trouble within the first eight minutes.

We submitted an early offer to Darlinstone and he has done nothing since then but get better. He had an excellent showing two years in a row at the UAA finals and he has offers from quality programs in the ACC, SEC, Big 12 , Big East and others. This is a guy we would be very happy to have.
