Time for Wojo to prove he can rebuild on the fly. That's what the great recruiters for the outstanding programs do.

Based upon his results so far, I have confidence in him. But if he can't do it, it will be time to find a coach who can.

MU is not a rebuild, nor will it be after this year. It won't even be a reload. 

Wojo is steady on recruiting and just scored a positive win by getting Symir in a year early . Where Wojo  has room for improvement is roster management, motivating players and building a positive team culture. 

In a way Hausergate was a bonzana for Wojo as it created a more balanced roster which he couldn't do on his own.

The only hope MU has to get rid of Wojo is for him to keep racking up 20 win plus seasons and then he moves up the pecking order in the coaching carousel. Eventually there will be some desperate power 5 football conference team that is desperate for a coach. Look at Georgia, Crean was able to get 6 years and 20 million from them.   If Wojo could get something like that he will be out the door.

Herman......I do not think so.....I think WOJO is making $2.4 now with a rolling $100k increase and likely performance bonuses......He signed just around the time Cooley and Willard got bumped and they were making around $2.4......I think both are now in the $2.7 - $2.8 range.....Believe it or not.....The difference of $500k is not a moveable event for people in that "earnings category" unless you are unhappy or for some other reason.....

$4 million will be the new starting price......That is why I am totally sure.....MU sharpened its pen on the buyout clause to cause leaches like VTech to go away.....

Do people seriously think Wojo, or any Milwaukee sports coach, has to put up with a lot of crap?  The pressure applied to MU coaches by the local media, which mostly ignores MU unless it can embarrass MU in some way, and fans, is very little. Milwaukee has always been pretty easy on it coaches. This isn't Philadelphia. There are few programs in the country that have better fan support and less insane fans with unrealistic expectations or demands than MU.

2020 Darlinstone Dubar just put out some recent highlights from the Under Armour Association.  I recognize these are highlights , but he is definitely progressing very well. Good size , smooth shot, can drive and run the floor. Started out as a defensive specialist so looks like he is becoming a complete player.

Hopefully MU can get him in for a visit.

That is a good thing as it shows commitment to the process . In this case Johnny can drive down and chew the fat with the staff and players .  MU can get him in for an official in the fall. In recruiting all face time on campus is valuable.

Add Quentin Grimes back to the target list as a sit-one, play-three transfer. Marquette is listed as one of Quentin Grimes top-5 transfer destinations, per Tipton Edits Instagram story. Texas A&M, Kentucky, Arizona, & Houston are the other four.

I think the hope for Grimes would be playing anywhere from the 1-3, and five guards seems reasonable in a 3-guard rotation.

I think that was originally from someplace else and it was more of a "the places that would be a good fit for Grimes" article. Still think/hope MU at least calls.

Sounds like Jalen Wilson has official visits with Kansas and UNC and might be narrowing in on those two.

Grimes as a transfer and then Garcia in the class of 2020 would really hit the spot. Add Dainja and Andre Jackson and I would be thrilled.

Suggs and Burnett pipe dreams. Sibley, Lewis, Davis, Beekman all solid options if we don't land some of the above.
