Hadn't been mentioned with him in a while, but Isaiah Cottrell did not include us in his top 8.

Cam'Ron Fletcher announcing his top 5 sometime today. Haven't heard us mentioned in a while so would be surprised if we made the cut.

His list will depend on if a few of the blue bloods offered him or not, in particular, Duke and Kentucky. Both showed a lot of interest. Chris Carrawell brought Coach K in to visit him. (they both visited Caleb Love the same day)  Some of the schools mentioned most with him recently have been in no order Mizzou, Michigan St., Louisville, Kansas, Ohio St., Kansas St., (Chris Lowery recruits Stl well) Alabama, a few others...UCLA, Michigan...

Update: Fletcher canceled his announcement of schools today.

Intriguing. I assume there's some paperwork that needs to happen before MU is allowed to announce the reclassification.

Dope. Our backcourt is going to be very good. Which is very important.

Great New for us.  Very Good news for recruiting.

Great news. As someone who is rooting for Wojo but is not sold on him as a high major coach, I am impressed with the way he has handled the program in the wake of the Hausers leaving.  Not that my opinion means anything.

So far, so good. He still needs to get a couple of the good 2020 recruits to sign on the dotted line.

Oh, and your opinion means as much as anybody else's on here. We're all just flappin' our gums.

Loses 2 inside players next year, needs at least 2 to come in.  There is definitely opportunity for a big to come in and start.  Has to be a
selling point.  No 4 on the roster in the future.  Need a back-up 5 as well.   Lewis would be a start.

Do you think Symir's reclassification helps at all with Andre Jackson?

It will be easier to get him to visit would be my assumption unless he has already been here.

The lines are pretty clear.    Markus, Sacar, Ed, Jayce all gone.   Probably 90 minutes of PT available.   Opportunities abound.    I suspect there will be at least one grad transfer.

Time for Wojo to prove he can rebuild on the fly. That's what the great recruiters for the outstanding programs do.

Based upon his results so far, I have confidence in him. But if he can't do it, it will be time to find a coach who can.

I would bail after this year if I was Wojo and not put up with the crap.  Have a good year, and pull a Buzz.  Then a bunch of people here can be really happy as we spin the wheel and do it all over again.

Do people seriously think Wojo, or any Milwaukee sports coach, has to put up with a lot of crap?  The pressure applied to MU coaches by the local media, which mostly ignores MU unless it can embarrass MU in some way, and fans, is very little. Milwaukee has always been pretty easy on it coaches. This isn't Philadelphia. There are few programs in the country that have better fan support and less insane fans with unrealistic expectations or demands than MU.

Crean also bailed.
.

He did, for a blueblood and left behind a great team and a future NBA player in the recruiting class.  Big difference.

Media wise, no....they are pretty soft.  Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the newspaper is gone within 5 years.

They were a blue blood.... Until Crean went there.   Pavlovian alarm sounded.
