They can be pretty annoying, but never paint with a broad brush. At a period in my life right before I knew I was going to have to become a full-time caregiver for my folks...I went down to Florida to caddy and work at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, FL. It was a brand new track, 5-star Nicklaus design that I would put up against any regular rota course on the PGA Tour, including Augusta. Since the membership was in its infancy, there wasn't a ton of loops going out, so all employees were allowed to play there free of charge every single day. The member who instituted this huge perk for the workers was a Florida grad. Another Gator alum was just about the nicest guy you'd ever meet. He was in his early 50's about ten years ago, and I had the pleasure of looping for him pretty regularly. One day, he got to talking Billy Donovan and I had to tell him I went to Marquette. He started raving about Al McGuire and what a great program we had. Well, at the end of this round, what he said had me almost in tears and beaming with pride....he asked me, "what are you doing caddying for me? I employed a Marquette grad for years and he was the smartest guy working for me by far, and I employed a couple Ivy leaguers. You MU guys are so intelligent, articulate, and interesting...just good people." I blushed and said, "well, I don't know about the intelligent part." He then said, "Marquette is a hell of a school...I haven't met many Florida grads that can hold a candle to you guys." I didn't know what to say in response, but it was cool to know our school is held in such high regard.

Unlikely with Suggs. I think he goes to Gonzaga with Strawther. But have been feeling good about Dainja and Dawson.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

If we get Dawson, I am 100% certain we are getting Garcia too.

We R Final Four

Their games are so similar, they play the same position, it almost seems if we get one of them that the other is not that far behind.

The problem is on defense.  You need both of them to cover just one player.

Let's just hope it's not one of those silent verbals that Bucky keeps getting.  That never seems to work out for them.

I was making a joke at Bucky's expense. There has been no silent verbals that I am aware of.

I've seen him listed as both a 6'6" SF and a 6'8" PF. Any idea of his accurate size and position?

I am willing to compromise on size and assume he can play either position.

247 has Justin at 6-7. Justin is the tough Big East type we have been looking for.

How many times have you heard of a recruit getting listed at less than his actual height?  Ever heard of anybody getting listed as taller?

My question was more to clarify whether he is a PF or a wing.

PF working on developing a perimeter game.  15-54 3fg (27.8%) in EYBL, last I checked.

Rebounding is his forte.
