I think they also said that about Symir.

This is true. The same guy told me that Symir would have gone to Cuse but they had too many guards on the roster.

?
You really think that? I'm quite sure they appreciate being in the Sibley sweepstakes, but not sure why you think that gator fans fans believe DWade Is repping on their behalf.
North Fla doesn't equate to So Fla.

North Florida and South Florida are indeed very different, but there are still plenty of Gator and Heat fans all over Florida. And yes - I'm guessing many of them really do think he's talking UF.

MU Fan in Connecticut

What's with the dude posting a gif with Bill Cosby in a Marquette sweater?

Why would D-Wade send love Iowa fans way?  He has no connection there.  WTF are they thinking?

WhiteTrash

Pretty sure the Iowa fans are joking.

Cosby was granted a honorary degree from MU that was later rescinded.

They can be pretty annoying, but never paint with a broad brush. At a period in my life right before I knew I was going to have to become a full-time caregiver for my folks...I went down to Florida to caddy and work at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, FL. It was a brand new track, 5-star Nicklaus design that I would put up against any regular rota course on the PGA Tour, including Augusta. Since the membership was in its infancy, there wasn't a ton of loops going out, so all employees were allowed to play there free of charge every single day. The member who instituted this huge perk for the workers was a Florida grad. Another Gator alum was just about the nicest guy you'd ever meet. He was in his early 50's about ten years ago, and I had the pleasure of looping for him pretty regularly. One day, he got to talking Billy Donovan and I had to tell him I went to Marquette. He started raving about Al McGuire and what a great program we had. Well, at the end of this round, what he said had me almost in tears and beaming with pride....he asked me, "what are you doing caddying for me? I employed a Marquette grad for years and he was the smartest guy working for me by far, and I employed a couple Ivy leaguers. You MU guys are so intelligent, articulate, and interesting...just good people." I blushed and said, "well, I don't know about the intelligent part." He then said, "Marquette is a hell of a school...I haven't met many Florida grads that can hold a candle to you guys." I didn't know what to say in response, but it was cool to know our school is held in such high regard.
Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she'd be a super horse......what's this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...

My wife tells people that one of the things that attracted her to me when we first met was the my being a Marquette grad. She referred to Marquette as being "the Harvard of the Midwest". I hope a Bucky fan reads this! This past year she went from years of spending only few moments here and there watching Marquette b ball with me to becoming a fan. Her favorite player was Sam. I teased her that I thought she had a crush on him. My family was surprised to learn that she, not I, was the one who suggested that we go to NYC to see a BET game. We also went to the Georgetown game in DC.

After retiring, I worked in Real Estate for a year but hated the business and left. When I was being interviewed for the position, the broker noticed my educational background and remarked "Marquette! I'm impressed."
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

The job that started my career trajectory started with an interview because the guy wanted to meet a Marquette grad. I was then able to hire a few myself

Sounds like a nice guy. He probably even knows that Marquette is not in Michigan.

Zaire must be injured or something. Seems like he is not with team at this tournament. Phenom guys look great as usual.
