So, no recruits have narrowed their choices in last week or so? I saw Jalen Johnson announced his final four over the weekend. Was curious if any of the guys on Wojo's list narrowed choices or made selection. Seems like we have offered a ton of kids and would think there would be some news out there.
We heard from Jalen and he dropped us. That may cause us to extend to some guys lower in our order that we are studying.

I think the nature of where we are in the pecking order will lead to more action on our specific guys later in the summer.

Also I think there is one less observation period. There was supposed to have been some high school state association sponsored events but not all states did it the first year.

Jayce Johnson is a grad transfer who is down to us and Nebraska.

Jemarl Baker Jr is a traditional transfer from Kentucky and announced he is taking an official visit to Marquette

We reportedly talked to grad transfers Akwasi Yeboah and Alihan Demir and they committed elsewhere. (Rutgers and Minnesota)

We reportedly talked to traditional transfer D.J. Harvey and he announced his final 2 and we missed the cut (Iowa and Vanderbilt)

We reportedly talked to traditional transfer Nysier Brooks and he committed elsewhere (Miami [FL])

Jalen Johnson announced his top 4 and we missed the cut. (Arizona, Duke, Kentucky, Wisconsin)

Johnny Juzang announced his top 4 and we missed the cut. (Kansas, Kentucky, Oregon Virginia)

Justin Lewis announced his top 10 and we are on the list. (Marquette, Maryland, Ohio State, Purdue, Seton Hall, Tennessee, UCF, UConn, Virginia Tech, West Virginia)

I don't think any other high school recruits with Marquette offers have trimmed their lists since the season ended. As Herman mentioned, news is typical slow during dead recruiting periods.

There, you should be all caught up.

Thank you. Any news about the two guys in MN?

I'm not sure which two you are referring to. We currently have offers out to five Minnesotans in the 20 and 21 classes. None of them have trimmed their lists at all. We have gotten an official visit from Dawson Garcia, unofficial visits from Dain Dainja/Jalen Suggs, and offered Chet Holmgren a scholarship within the past month. The 5th one, Gabe Madsen hasn't been mentioned with us in awhile and is generally viewed as a mid major recruit. Mark Miller has us picked on the crystal ball for Dawson Garcia if you believe in such things. Miller also picked us for Dain Dainja then changed his pick back to nothing.

Nice recap. 👍 Thank you. (DJ Harvey picked Vandy today.)

Btw, I think Dawson, Gabe, Suggs & Chet are all playing down the street from my house this weekend. My team is off this weekend, so I'll probably catch some action (at least Friday night, maybe more). D1 MN Spring Classic

You have to slot Torrence in for one of them in '20.

He did. As of now we are projected to have 8 scholarship players in 20-21:

McEwen
John
Cain
Elliott
Bailey
Eke
Akanno
Torrence

This leaves us with 5 open scholarships for the 20 class. This will be true even if Torrence reclassifies to 19 though that will reduce the 19 class' number to 1.

Elliott JR
Bailey JR
Eke JR
Akanno SO
Torrence FR

That is 8.  Still 5 available.

You are correct.  I will crawl back in my hole and work on my counting, haha.  Also, wow...no wonder we have so many offers out as that's a lot to fill.

Could be that, like Doc Rivers' kids, Zaire has no interest in stepping into his old man's shadow.

7 footer with 3 point range. I can dig it. Would like to see him get some more protein. Really skinny. Hard to imagine him banging with Big East posts.
