Agreed. The second best answer is no. I think UW has been bit in the past thinking they have a chance with marquee recruits that were never really going there. Better to spend recruiting efforts on recruits you can get.

Especially since MU has at least a decent chance on about a half dozen top 100 recruits for the '20 class. Really need to focus on landing those guys because 6 second place finishes there would be pretty devastating.

Diamond and JP went to ALOT of MU games.
Doesn't seem to mean much, other than free tickets to a college basketball game on a Saturday afternoon in January.

When's the last time UW wasn't on a top local kid's list? And how often does UW land the kid?

I'll put some money down on UW not getting him and give you 4:1 odds.

Need some better guards than Dmitric Trice, Brad Davison, and Trevor Anderson to go to a Final Four.

Who knows. If they're willing to pay what Johnson's going rate is, maybe they'll pay to upgrade their guards while they're at it.

Maybe - but I think UW is getting the state school courtesy mention. He'll go to Duke or Kentucky and the Badgers will claim to have been his 2nd choice - when in truth they never had a chance.

MU had no shot at #5, UW actually did. Bo was legit and liked. Can't say the same for Buzz. And yes, I do know this for a fact.

The only way he goes to UW is if the NCAA gets serious and drops the hammer on the other 3, which we know will never happen.

This probably hurts Bucky more than anything.  Now they have to keep spending time and resources chasing Jalen when there is probably zero chance he ends up there.

The real laugher IMO is Arizona.  What is the chance Sean Miller is still there when JJ heads to college??  2% chance?
