Marquette has had several top ten classes. Depending on which source you use, a class of torrence dainja and Garcia would be right there with them give or take. Idiot

The actual numbers are just a few posts above yours. Maybe you should read it? "Give or take" A.K.A. I'm wrong but I was kind of close! What an absolute clown you are.

Give or take based on which source is used. You unbearable child

JamilJaeJamailJrJuan

Seems unlikely we'll use all 3 scholarships at this point.

Assuming 1 goes to Torrence.  1 goes to Jayce Johnson or the Skogman kid if Johnson goes elsewhere.  At this point, it doesn't seem like we're in on traditional sit out transfers.

Maybe this Jalen Bridges kid if he reclassifies to 2019, but seems like we'd be just 1 of a few dozen HMs interested.

Marquette has not had several top 10 recruiting classes. Per ESPN they have had 1 (#10 in 2015) and per 247 Composite they have had 1 (#7 in 2013).

The only service that would be true is ESPN...who is the least accurate recruiting service out there. Rivals and 247 are much more accurate and would ranked Torrence, Dainja, and Garcia as the highest rated trio since the Crean years.

ok well the the silly hound dogs argument was that it would be the best ever which is simply just not true. We have had as good or arguably better in the past. and for the first part, I didn't mean just ESPN. I meant if you look at whatever site you can see we have had multiple top ten classes. Also why is ESPN the least accurate. Bias much? Most recruiting rankings are relatively the same.

They aren't, which is why people talking about this generally tend to use RSCI rankings, which are a composite of the different systems.

Dominic James was #36, Jerel McNeal was #57 and Wes Matthews was #61 in the final RSCI rankings for the Class of 2005. Marquette's class was ranked #9 in the country.

https://sites.google.com/site/rscihoops/home/the-winners/2005-winners

JaJuan Johnson was #30, Deonte Burton was #54 and Duane Wilson was #59 in the final RSCI rankings for the Class of 2013. Marquette's class was again ranked #9 in the country.

https://sites.google.com/site/rscihoops/home/2013-final
https://sites.google.com/site/rscihoops/home/the-winners/winners-2013

Henry Ellenson was #9, Haanif Cheatham was #87 and Matt Heldt was #96 in the final RSCI rankings for the Class of 2015. Marquette's class was named to the Honorable Mention list.

https://sites.google.com/site/rscihoops/home/the-winners/2015-winners

By this measure, landing three consensus RSCI Top 50 recruits would be our best recruiting class in at least the past 20 years.

Pretty sure the Cadougan, Williams, Maymonne, DJO, McMorrow Fulce and Buycks class was top 10 as well

Again, I went back and you are wrong about multiple top ten classes. According to ESPN we've had 1, according to Rivals we've had 0, according to 247 we've had 1. Unless you are referring to pre 2000s.

ESPN is the least accurate because they by far invest the least of money, time, and energy into recruiting news. They fell behind 247 and Rivals forever ago and decided the investment wasn't worth it. That's why their recruiting sites typically only have commentary from 1 or 2 guys while Rivals and 247 have dozens of people covering recruiting news.

Could you share the rankings? Because I could've sworn I checked a few years ago and 2009 and 2013 were both top 10.

2009: ESPN #14, 247 #12
2013: ESPN #11, 247 #7

Rivals doesn't have team data past 2018 for some reason. They were lower on our 2013 recruits so probably not top 10 year, but it looks like they may have been a little higher on our 2009 recruits (had Maymom 20-30ish spots higher) so maybe Rivals had us at top 10 that year.

Agreed! Wojo needs to win now, for himself and MU. I don't care if it is the Duke and Kentucky way or the Butler and Gonzaga way. The entirety of his tenure has been underwhelming.

Where did Evan Daniels say this?? I follow him on twitter and haven't seen that...and then there's also this small problem with the Jayce Johnson visit this weekend. Pretty sure Wojo will be around for that. :)

I saw someone quote an Evan Daniels tweet from two years ago.  I initially thought it was referencing this Sunday, until I realized the time stamp was April 2017. That might be the source of confusion.
