I'm taking that declaration as a bad thing for us?

Nah, him and Pat Baldwin have both been repeating that for weeks.

Given the state of this board i think any declaration no matter how positive or negative or anywhere in between will be seen as negative.

Great minds!

Interesting that the offer comes now. We were talking to him last year but an offer didn't get reported. Assumed that meant he wasn't interested. Wonder if that changed.

I mean, I'd consider a good thing. So long as it is open, he isn't committed anywhere else either.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

It will be cool when this Lawless kid celebrates his 11th birthday by reporting about more recruits.

I have a very, very hard time believing that we had Jalen Johnson all but sealed up and he's now announcing that he's no longer sure about committing to Marquette.  So I'm highly skeptical that his Tweet says anything at all about where Marquette stands with him.

Long, tenacious, and intelligent with his positioning. Above average athlete who needs to improve his skill set. If Cain stays, would seem ideal for a redshirt.

I'm a big believer in 2nd chances Herman, but how do you think fans/ administration would react right now if Wojo offered a scholarship to a felon after everything that has transpired in the last couple months

Most likely it would not be well received. That is why I put it as reference only. Hopefully,  it things work out for the young man and he maintains a clean record, maybe he could be a viable transfer candidate down the road.

I have a feeling that the MU faithful is going to be very happy with the 2020 class. Torrence committed. In  on Garcia,Dainja,Lewis,Jackson,Burnett,Sibley,Polk,Johnson,Stute,Morton and Rahim. As much as I disliked Rick Pitino I always liked the athletes he recruited.Looks like MU wants to go that route.MU now involved with Johnny Davis also

In an ideal world who would we land? My vote would be Garcia, Burnett, Beekman, Dainja and Lewis. Obviously ignoring Jalen there cuz I think he's gonna go blue blood

I would agree with this. As much fun as it would be to chase Johnson, I just don't see him here and don't mind if MU just goes through the motions on that one. He's obviously trying to drum up some local interest with his "I'm wide open" tweets but I'm not taking the bait this time. Definitely not worth "pausing recruiting" with so many other attainable options.

Any thoughts on how the andre jackson home visit went?
