Was thinking the same thing. I personally am not looking to learn anything or gain insight from most announcers. The only thing I really care about is them saying nice things on air - accurate or not - about Marquette's program and the university over all.

They WILL say dumb and incorrect crap. That's a given.

Strawther sounded like he was looking to decide this spring, but haven't really heard much about his other visits.

Has Nimari Burnett cut his list or mentioned a visit schedule? Jalen Johnson? Polk? Sibley?

Have we had a visit from Dawson Garcia yet?

Given that Arizona was flying in all their lawyers last night, any chance Mannion is back on the market soon?

Strawther has only taken 2 visits so far.  His other visits are in February and March, so don't expect to hear much of an update in the immediate future.

Anderson is fantastic........I'd take him as a play by play guy for every MU game and be grateful.

Definitely untrue. He has had some incredible, emotional calls on Brewers games.

In the playoffs he has to be neutral because he's not working for the Brewers.

So Zaire Wade had an unofficial of sorts with MU on Sunday. Looks like Miami has been spending some time watching him. So far his only hard offer is from his step moms school Nebraska. Zaire has been doing well this junior high school season.

Not sure what you think you are hearing but this just isn't true........when I was listening him do the Buffalo game he gushed about MU......when they beat UW the last 2 years he was very complimentary.

He lives here......he has to try to be objective on TV.....he is a fan of all the state teams....including MU.

He isn't going to be Homer and shouldn't be......that's not his job.

BA is an acceptable basketball announcer and a fantastic baseball announcer. No qualms with how he calls MU games - at least he can competently call the action

Recruiting update Jalen Suggs,Jamari,Jalen Johnson,and Polk have all said at some point that they plan on committing in the fall of there senior year. A lot of recruits seems to commit around that date. So I wouldn't plan on any action till then.
