According to this article from a week ago, the "5 main players" for Carton right now are Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio State but "Marquette and Wisconsin are still in the mix." I have no idea how accurate that statement is. If true, and if he is cutting it to 6, it would seem that either Marquette or Wisconsin is getting the axe.

We haven't exactly lost many. Tillman, Grimes, and Lee are the only ones that I can remember we were all in on which didn't come to fruition.

Well we also don’t really get to an all in point on a lot too(which is to be expected).

I’m not complaining. I love the potential of guys like Cain, Elliot and John.

But to take the absolute next step it will be getting these clear top 50 guys...that are not instate with brothers on the team(again not complaining tho).

I do think it’s scary what type of recruiting potential Wojo has tho. He’s getting high end guys to give us a look and we’ve got a 10 seed, NiT and 2 nothing’s on our resume. Once we start making some noise we may be filling classes with all top 50 guys.

Markus reclassified tho. If he stays with his class and is the 5 star you stated we are going against teams other then Baylor and Central Arkansas.

McEwen isn’t a recruit nor was he someone with a stacked final 6 that chose us.

Their incoming football class is ranked #9 in the Big Ten.  Not that it matters.  They know what guys they have success with and recruit accordingly.

Gotcha, thanks.  I've assumed for a while now that there would be no way he ends up there unless they unexpectedly overachieve by a ton the next 2 seasons, but I always figured they'd finish "2nd" no matter where he chose.
