It's odd because there is literally nothing on twitter other than his tweet. None of our coaches follow him, no reports of coaches watching him play etc.

This is blatantly false, Wojo absolutely recruited Herro.  You're pulling a classic Badger fan move though, "the only reason he's not coming here is because we didn't really want him."

Also, Herro transferring to MU is not a rumor.  It's just UW fans attempt to knock Herro, predicting he won't cut it at Kentucky and will have to transfer, while also trying to rip MU about frequently relying on transfers.

I'm sure both sides have some grains of truth to them.  I would hope that Sam and Joey don't have as much say in who gets recruited as Stan and Wojo, but at the same time, if Wojo knows that Sam and Joey don't want to play with him, he likely won't put in the time needed to go head to head with a program like Kentucky.  Herro is a talented kid no doubt, but teams with the most talent don't always win.

Highly doubtful. If true that would be a big mistake on playing him in NIT.

No I never said that. All I said was there may potentially be a scenario whereby the length of time for him to properly rehab into D1 Basketball form may extend farther into the regular season. Sometimes in these cases coaches will opt to not use up the year of eligibility. I gave Buzz and Duane Wilson and then later Buzz with Ahmed Hill at VT as examples of these scenarios. Not saying it is going to happen this way for Sam or even predicting it, in fact I would prefer it wasn't the case. But just posited it for off season message board discussion purposes.In that he had a very major surgery relative to athletic performance.

I agree that calling into question whether or not Sam plays is a little hyperbolic. 

I do however think it is fair to question whether or not he develops further or potentially regresses next year due to the surgery/recovery.
