I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

genious expert

Does anybody know anything about MarJon Beauchamp?
Saw his name on Marquette's 247 offers for 2020 but I haven't heard much other than that we offered him a year ago
https://twitter.com/Marjon32/status/861762709087559680

And that we were really the only high major in on him early according to the last paragraph of this
https://www.prephoops.com/2017/09/marjon-beauchamp-chooses-garfield/

He's ranked #18 in the class of 2020.

It's odd because there is literally nothing on twitter other than his tweet. None of our coaches follow him, no reports of coaches watching him play etc.

Speaking of Herro, I heard a rumor in Madison that UW people think he's transferring to MU after this year. I laughed. It makes no sense.

PistolBrad

I've heard the same rumor from some Madison people.  Sounds like pure speculation to me.  Not that I would mind it if it came to fruition.

Just don't see why he would even do this.

Isn't this a kid who thinks he has 1 and done talent?

That move means 3 and done and minimum and 1 of those years he sits out

You might mind if it cost us The Brothers Hauser, which is one major reason Wojo didn't pursue Herro in the first place.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

This is blatantly false, Wojo absolutely recruited Herro.  You're pulling a classic Badger fan move though, "the only reason he's not coming here is because we didn't really want him."

Also, Herro transferring to MU is not a rumor.  It's just UW fans attempt to knock Herro, predicting he won't cut it at Kentucky and will have to transfer, while also trying to rip MU about frequently relying on transfers.

Big Daddy said that was the reason Wojo stopped going after Herro, in Big Daddy I trust.

I'm sure both sides have some grains of truth to them.  I would hope that Sam and Joey don't have as much say in who gets recruited as Stan and Wojo, but at the same time, if Wojo knows that Sam and Joey don't want to play with him, he likely won't put in the time needed to go head to head with a program like Kentucky.  Herro is a talented kid no doubt, but teams with the most talent don't always win.

If he transferred here after next season (huge if, but just playing along with this supposed Vadger rumor), he'd never play with Sam.

That's not fair.

You also have to play along with Herman's speculation then as well.

Sam medical redshirt this year.

Him and Herro together for 1 year in 2020/21

So..you think that Sam...whom we rolled out in NIT games...doesn't play this season?

Highly doubtful. If true that would be a big mistake on playing him in NIT.

you actually think Sam isn't going to play this season?
No I never said that. All I said was there may potentially be a scenario whereby the length of time for him to properly rehab into D1 Basketball form may extend farther into the regular season. Sometimes in these cases coaches will opt to not use up the year of eligibility. I gave Buzz and Duane Wilson and then later Buzz with Ahmed Hill at VT as examples of these scenarios. Not saying it is going to happen this way for Sam or even predicting it, in fact I would prefer it wasn't the case. But just posited it for off season message board discussion purposes. In that he had a very major surgery relative to athletic performance.

I agree that calling into question whether or not Sam plays is a little hyperbolic.

I do however think it is fair to question whether or not he develops further or potentially regresses next year due to the surgery/recovery.
