I'd be interested to see if the investigation into Kansas causes anyone do decommit...ideally Grimes...

Maybe his family is getting cash.

Not surprised - his reclassification was contingent on an offer from one of the big boys.

He's not reclassifying, is staying in 2019.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

I have a strong feeling these investigations are not going to lead to any significant punishments.

We've already been shown that there were no immediate effects (outside of Louisville), as many claimed there would be - coaches fired, teams not in the NCAA in 2018, etc.

You may or may not be right, but I don't believe the NCAA will act, or ever intended to act, until the feds finish their investigation.
And as today's announcement notes, the investigation is ongoing. Ultimately, if it turns out that programs/coaches were complicit in players being paid to attend their schools, there will be major consequences.

If Grimes decommits, I don't think he would be coming to MU and I'm not sure Wojo would even want him.

That's fair. I forgot there was somehow bad blood per a story that I don't know.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

We were promised that when grimmes uses his eligibility we'd hear the story so hope he just becomes ineligible
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

I kind of doubt that.  Things must have gone horribly if that is the case. I know BD has a big story to tell when QG goes pro, but I doubt its that bad.  If so, HOW JUICY!

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I think MU would welcome him with open arms. There was nothing unethical about the QG recruitment as far as I'm aware. KU beat us fair and square

Wasn't the rumor that he was telling the MU players he was going to KU while he was on his MU visit?

Haha I personally am optimistic given his visit schedule and our competition (and that Creighton is pursuing 4 players for 1/maybe 2 spots) but haven't spoken with anyone about it.
More than anything I had to get over the Hagans name change and quickly pivoted to Koby.

There was a Law and Order SVU episode with this general theme (only it was a football player).  It did not end well for the recruit.
Have some patience, FFS.

I did not mean to imply that I knew.  Merely what I had heard here on Scoop.  I have no inside info relative to QG's visit to campus.

genious expert

I just did a quick glance through Dwayne Killings twitter and here are a few recruits for 2019/2020 who follow him. Wouldn't be surprised if a few popped up on our radar this summer. (Mulcahy already has an offer from us.)

Paul Mulcahy G
TJ Bickerstaff SF
Khalil Watson G
Khalif Battle SG
Seth Lundy SF
Max Lorca-Lloyd PF

2020:
Trey Hall PF

Dajon Dancil SF/PF
Darien Wynn PG
Adrian "Ace" Baldwin PG
