My question on these visits, not sure after the first visit, what they talk about the 2nd or 3rd time with a recruit.  Can they take them out for dinner, or do they watch
him at the gym?  Bill Self, Shaka, saw him to, this kid must need to see some serious love from the coaches?  I understand you are trying to build a relationship with him
but when is it enough.  Does the NCAA limit how many times you can visit a kid?

Gassing up a private jet and bringing an entire staff several times in a one month period sends a strong message regarding how important they think you are IMHO. Love that they're doing it

The one good thing about having a private jet, bring as many as you can, as it does not cost anymore.  Did that with Tillman last year.   It is much easier to recruit 1
kid then 4 or 5 so you can give him great attention.  If I am not mistaken, MU coaches can have up to 40 days out recruiting a year, is that true?  Secondly, can they
go watch a kid as many times as they want, such as Sibley at Nicolet, as it is 10 minutes from Wojo's house?

You are mistaken on the first, and "no" is the answer to the second.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

There is only ONE good thing about having a private jet?
You would think there would be more.

here's the recruiting guide from the NCAA for men's basketball:

https://www.ncaa.org/sites/default/files/June2016_DIMensBasketballGuide_20160613.pdf

A few of the basics:

• 130 recruiting-person days during academic year recruiting and evaluation periods

• Not more than seven recruiting opportunities (contacts and evaluations combined) during the academic year per prospective student-athlete.

• Practice/competition site restrictions.

OK, there is more than one, but the cost is the same if you bring all the coaches or one, that is my point.

So maybe this is a good place for someone to list all the recruits that were at Madness last night.  :D

Looks like this guy was there

https://twitter.com/buddyjaffee/status/916743902689988608

Is that guy a senior in HS now or being added to team for this coming season?
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I popped over to the Kansas board to see what if any insight they have on Grimes. Jay Bee, they need your guidance bad. One crystal ball pick for Dotson to Maryland and their board started to meltdown.

As for Grimes, they have zero knowledge from what I can tell. They've all pegged him as a gimme for them. The only reasoning I can seem to find from them is that they've been the crystal ball leader for so long.

Interview with QQ. Nothing very earth shattering though he did bring up wanting to be the starting PG again. Will be cheering hard for Dotson to go to KU.

Also said he probably isn't going to decide until December or later.....so people can calm down and not expect anything to happen right after his visit to MU.

That's not what he said. He said he isn't going to rush a decision. He moved up his visit to UK so he could get all his visits done in October and his high school coach said he is going to be a fall decision. He could end up waiting but I anticipate him being a fall signee.

Is Dotson announcing this week? Thought I read here he was going to announce soon. Maryland has a soph PG that started as a freshman and isn't an early NBA prospect. If Dotson wants Kansas, My guess is He commits prior to Grimes visit.

Scuttlebutt says this week, likely Friday....possibly when QG is on campus. Gives them an opportunity to damage control and try to spin it into a positive.

Fun fact, in the 15 years that 247 has been doing class rankings, only one school has ever managed to sign two 5 star PG/CGs to the same class (2016 UK, Malik Monk and De'Aaron Fox).

Walk on.   I think there was a post about him.     Somebody has to play guard.

I haven't heard about a new walk on for this season yet. Buddy Jaffee is joining the team next season as a preferred walk on.
