My focus was on brothers that could actually play together (Joey & Sam).  Jason and Jeff were separated by too much age.  That is also why I didn't include the third Zeller brother because of age gap. Same for Bruce and Clay Matthews at USC, and others.

You are welcome.

I didn't say anyone implied or stated it was definite.  The term prohibitive favorite is where my focus was.  That's a speculative term at best.  It may be true, may not, but unless we're inside the mind and heart of Joey Hauser, it cannot be anything more than that.  Examples provided to show where brothers capable of playing with one another chose not to, for whatever reason.

Purely an opinion of mine based on a degrading memory bank (my brain).   Some of these are twins, which rarely go in different directions to play when both have same opportunity at same school.

Ellensons (Marquette)
Lope brothers (Stanford)
Three Plumlee brothers (Duke)
Mikans (DePaul)
OBannons (UCLA)
Collins (Stanford)
Morris (Kansas)
Van Arsdales (Indiana)
Grahams (Oklahoma State)
Barbers (Virginia)
McCourtys
Pounceys
Balls (UCLA, remains to be seen if any play together)

Wow a dozen examples over the last 60 years!!!
The mikans and the van arsdales wholly moses we r reaching back!!! Didnt romulus n remeus play together a Roma u.? Cuz u know examples from 60-4000 yrs ago are bona fide!
Oh poor chicos, ur psycho-babble from 6 months ago rings so hollow.

to me, it doesn't seem like a one-sided trend.  For every brother combo I could think of that played at the same school, there was another set that played at different schools.
But as mentioned previously, twins seem to stick together.

The first list explains why Wojo was fired by all of those schools.

Thanks old...that's pretty much what my impression was.  It's not a given that a brother follows their older sibling.

How many of the younger brothers in these cases had offers that would have allowed them to join the older Bro?

How about Jay (MU) and Jon (Mich St) Zulaufs

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

B. McBannerson

I used examples of brothers that could actually play together, not those that are separated by too many years to make it impossible. The exhaustive list would have been longer.

Some good additional names from users here. Thank you.  My memory only goes so far.

Joey has not "soft" committed to UW.   Evan Flood and I are going to disagree on this.  I think he is still a MU lean, but I agree that it appears that it will be MU or UW.

Agree 100%. Herro has been trying to sway Joey for some time, but to me it's like an oil/water thing. Herro is flashy, always talking, active/taunting on social media, etc. Joey just goes about it all differently, much more understated and mature for his age. Herro is a great player, but he feeds on the spotlight. The Hausers have been around Herros for some time, they know the drill. Joey's "Robin" on the SPASH team and good friend is Drew Bair, an assassin 3-point shooter. He isn't the most athletic kid, but he could always shoot. Blair was with Herro for many years until they "shed" him a few years back for some other, more-coveted players. Herros have always been about Herros. I just can't see the the Hausers wanting to team up with them (kid and dad). Just my 2 cents. And save the Herro just congratulated Blair for his recent offer, etc. There is a ton of PR (that hides bad blood) that goes on behind the scenes.

Khavon Moore narrowed his list of schools to 12.  Marquette is listed, along with Oklahoma, Providence, Florida, UCLA, Alabama, Clemson, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, USC, Mercer and Georgia.
