How many pairs of brothers have played together at MU?

Henry & Wally Ellenson
Matt & Mike Mache

Rest of these are guesses based off the wiki:
Jack & Jim Burke
George & Richard Collentine
Anthony & Guido Gauckler
Grant & Russ Wittberger
Tuffy & Floyd Ronzani
Earl & Mark O'Malley
Don & Robert Meyers
Junius & Roland Klumb

and coming soon?

How in the EFF could you forget the Mache twins?!

Honestly, because the wiki is about 10 years behind. Also, I always thought they were one person doing a Mr. Anderson-Matrix trick.

I've cooled on Elliott. Neck is too skinny.

No problem; have him work out with Todd Smith for a year and that neck will grow twofold!
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

🏀

The real question for Big Daddy is has MU ever had two sets of brothers on the same team.

Does NC State have any class of 2017 recruits that MU had shown interest in before they committed to NCSU?

No, but UNC Asheville has several players that MU didn't show interest in before they committed to there.

The Ellensons and who? Remember that Matthew Mache left the team before the season.

If they're serious about the whole Marquette basketball being a family thing then everybody who has played is brothers
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

IrwinFletcher

Was the point of Big Daddy's post missed by everyone?

Was he honestly asking the question, or was he being cryptic about some pending news?

Right now MU is only starting two brothers - the fewest in as long as I can remember.

Jack and Jim Burke?

Goose,

LOL - IIRC, your brother in law called Jimmy the fastest guy he ever played with. Jack, not so much - but he could shoot it! Both were great guys.

Goose

Lenny

We were talking about Jimmy being the fastest last week. Jack was in town and looks fantastic.

"I was at the game Saturday and was introduced  to a fan from Stevens Point.  I in no way want to say anything that might disclose his identity. I came away from the ensuing conversation feeling more optimist about the situation. My take of his comments was that the Badgers are neck and neck with  Marquette and that JH would attend one of the two. I asked about MSU and heard that Izzo has put on an impressive full court press, including the away game at Merrill, but that JH would stay in state. "
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

FWIW, I have heard UW is a distant 3rd behind MSU and MU. Could be mistaken certainly....but the only constant is Marquette is one of the leaders!

This makes me even more happy about UW losing 3 out of the 4 last games.

Norm

Got word that Wojo was in Detroit on Wednesday to recruit Elliott. He also stopped in to check in on Ike, not sure if he made it to see Cain, but I wouldn't doubt it if he did.
