Thought we'd at least hang in there until the blue bloods started sniffing around. Didn't think we'd lose him to Gonzaga, but that's still a great winning program. Most of the top kids from Milwaukee all seem to want to leave the state. Don't burn the bridge in case it doesn't work out there.

That's a big time bummer.  Felt like we were in a good position with him.

Maybe Few can do us a favor, keep him locked up/other teams from going after him, and then Mark can retire in March of 2027.

Bummer.  Really wanted to land Dooney.

Hopefully Shaka can get either Devin Cleveland or Markus Kerr instead.

Jaxson Davis, Antonio Pemberton, and Micah Gordon are all PGs. Want one from this list.

I viewed Dooney as a SG that could develop into a CG.  Cleveland fits the bill as a CG, while Kerr is very much a SG.  I view them as more direct alternatives to Dooney.

Yeah thats fair.  PG is definitely the biggest need in 2027 though.  Plenty of wings in 2025 and 2026 already so a good one in 2027 would just be a nice luxury add.

The funniest part of this is that the two posters who think calling a guy a girl's name or pronoun are Willie and JayBee.

I'm not sure where or how "hmmmmm..." is stating facts but I haven't been watching Marquette basketball since the Panic of 1893 like Wingidngs.

A campus in Spokane will beat you every time.  ::)

-Interesting the Spokane news station story doesn't list MU as involved with Dooney. ?

Yes.  Most high level college athletes are choosing their schools based on the city the program is in.  Tuscaloosa, Oxford, South Bend, Norman are all extremely desirable cities and why the likes of Northwestern in Chicago, Cal in Berkley, UCLA in Westwood, Houston, Stanford in Palo Alto, Boston College, etc. are powerhouses in college football.

It's also why college basketball programs in cities like Lexington, Storrs, West Lafayette, Lawrence, etc. will never be able to compete with the Northwesterns and DePauls of the college basketball world.

I guess you dont get the Jack Webb from Dragnet reference.
But I am glad I made your day by being funny.
Yopur post reminds me of Alicia Silverstone.

Is "Yopur" related to Ramsey? Big key for the upcoming season, for which joyless willie is forecasting a 1-30 record.

He's not the first recruit that was blown away by the official visit to the Zags.

In an interview a few days ago he said he was taking his time in his recruitment..........time in this case turned out to be about 3 days.

Best of luck to him......Zags are a great program and if he wanted to leave Milwaukee better there than a few other places.

Yopur, Ramsey, and Hamilto are the keys to the season.

Never know what factors at play with the decision.

I'm impressed. I thought Willard was way too old for a Dragnet reference. Keeping things fresh.

Didn't Pemberton say we were his #1? Im too lazy to look back, but there was a 27 recruit that was big on us.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.
