Outside the last two years, the last team as good as this one was in 2013.

While recognizing this is all in good fun, I have to say this question stands in direct opposition to my stance on Wojo at the end. I thought the question of 'who would replace Wojo' was ridiculous, but 'who would replace Shaka' is valid and scarry. But, I recognize this is a hypothetical question to prove a point (whew!)

I dont think you have watched Shaka the last several years.

We don't know what his d is. Aside from Chase and maybe Lowery, we have no real good defenders returning next year. So yeah if he can consistently drain 3s, start him from day 1. We do not have any guys that can do that.

I'm confused. You do not think Shaka is doing a good job but you can't name a coach you would rather have. I am sorry to say that you don't seem destined for happiness. You complain about the negative trend over the past two years, but, over the last three years, MU has gone from getting into the NCAA tournament, to getting to the round of 32, to getting to the Sweet 16. So is the two-year trend to which you are referring really the recent two-month trend? After inheriting a rebuild, I think it is hard to rationally argue that Shaka has done a poor job.

different pathways. Took over absolute garbage at ISU. I'd argue Big12 better than BE year-end year-out top to bottom. Very good recruiter, from what I've seen. Definitely gets nba talent out of Wisconsin. IF Shaka left MU...and this is all hypotheticals, correct?...I'd make a call.
