Sir has to be Shaka's number one target as of now. And I love it

Sir's dad is Nazr Mohammed who played for Rick at Kentucky.

I could be wrong but I thought Nazr was considering MU at some point in his recruitment.

I have fond hopes that Tre is being seriously undervalued.

I know it's not quite Kentucky having 3 of the top 6, but ya can't help but like Shaka's 3-man class -- a pair of top-100 recruits and a developing, ascending 6-9 athlete.

Offered Amari Allen. Has a Marquette Visit today.

He's a stud and a perfect fit for Shaka with his length and skill combo.  Plays like a 6'7 PG. Hopefully we can keep him home.

Played his freshman year at Kaukauna, but transferred to IMG this year.  I looked at their box score from their national quarterfinal and semifinal games and he totaled 10 minutes and took 1 shot.  Not surprising given those schools are always loaded with D1 talent in every grade, so the upperclassmen are playing now and his time will come in the next 2 years.

Yup its tough to crack the rotation as a soph at those schools, but still great for development.  Here is recent AAU highlights, the skill level for a 6'7 soph is high level.

Looks pretty good.  Shot release is a bit slow but form looks good with a high release.  That should quicken naturally over time through repetition.

Passing looks good, solid handle, nice athlete...big time prospect.

Joson Sanon

As for Sanon, I am confident calling him a blue chip recruit and future NBA player.  Not only does Sanon possess elite athleticism, he also excels at controlling it:

Stop and start hesitation move with good burst.
Change of direction.
Decelerating to stop on a dime and make an assist.
Dunking off of two feet with ease.

Combined with a tight handle and sound jumper, he has NBA SG written all over him.  Would not be surprised to see Joson Sanon end up a top 10 recruit and one-n-done draft prospect.

Starting to see Shaka go after some higher rated recruits.

Given that he's not aircraft carrier sized, I can understand your reasoning.

Kaukana?  Last time Marquette went fishing in central Wisconsin, all we got was a class in leadership via penmanship

One of my classmates is from Kakauna, but I don't ever remember him talking it up as a basketball hotbed.

Used to coach in Kaukauna's conference. Great program. A lot of D2 players.

Jordan McCabe was the best player went to West Virginia and just finished at UNLV

Allen was a stud as a Frosh but then moved on after a suspension due to a locker room incident.

So, he has the locker room destruction portion of his central Wisconsin experience done

Do we have any idea how Shaka's in-home visit with Sir Mohammed went?
Would be incredible to wrap up a 2024 class of Owens, Parham, and Mohammed soon so Shaka can commit as much time as possible for a potential 2025 class of Sanon and Allen.
