Good to see us trying around Chicago again. Makes more sense than people claiming we have to get all the best prospects from bumble f*ck WI 4 or more hours away.

I would like to see us schedule a H and H with either Northwestern or Loyola (maybe 2:1) to get better exposure in Chicago recruiting. Maybe even both. Make sure the Marquette name is well represented in Chicago. The DePaul game just does not do enough.
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

? Who says this and what does this mean? 4 or more hours away from MU...in Wisconsin...is well Superior.

Can't remember the poster but someone was obsessing that all in state talent means local and is therefore a must have instead of going after Chicago.

Also rice lake was > 4hrs away from Milwaukee.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Can this be accurate? According to 247 Sports, since Wes Matthews in 2005, we have recruited 10 in-state players out of high school and just ONE (Matt Heldt) completed their eligibility at Marquette. Two others declared early, but Heldt is the only 4-year in-state player in the past 15 years. There have been transfers that completed their eligibility (Buycks, Jamil) but also transfers that left early (McKay). That's kind of wild. Am I missing anyone?

2018: Joey Hauser (Michigan State)
2016: Sam Hauser (Virginia)
2015: Henry Ellenson (NBA)
2015: Matt Heldt
2014: Sandy Cohen (Green Bay)
2013: Duane Wilson (Texas A&M)
2013: Deonte Burton (Iowa State)
2010: Vander Blue (NBA)
2009: Jeronne Maymon (Tennessee)
2007: Scott Christopherson (Iowa State)

MU Offered Colombian PF playing in Texas. Currently a 3* but he'll skyrocket.

Offered by Creighton, Houston, South Carolina so far

Former MU target Kordell Charles lands at ETSU. Pretty sure he was coming here for Wojo and then Shaka told him there was no room at the inn

Similarly, there have been zero Illinois high school recruits since Jerel who completed their eligibility at MU. That said, Teve was a sample of one.

I know! If only Wojo ever landed a single decent recruit.

Hard to believe, but he didn't get anybody over a 2-star. Not one!

Reggie Smith was also Mac Irvin Fire. I mean, still doesn't help the point on eligibility.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Good catch but even Pomeroy has expunged his short stint whose beginning of the end started on Halloween.

Some typo-ed "Steve" as "Teve" in a comment and it became Scoop canon.

Not the best way to phrase it.

But it is a pretty big drop from MU to ETSU, especially considering all the roster turnover (via the portal) happening this year.

His final three from February were Marquette, Illinois and Tulsa.  With Wojo leaving, and Illinois losing assistants, he possibly could have been left without a P6 spot to land.

Marquette offered Kam Craft. 6'6 SG.

He's having a strong Spring after a strong high school season. Diversifying his game.

Because we never competed with ETSU.  He had a final three that didn't include ETSU, including two P6 schools, but my guess is that coaching changes left him without a spot.  ETSU is likely where he fell.
