Pisser if he opts for DU, hey?

Would be nice to get one of them. We likely lose dex and/or symir but I'd prefer the W's at this point personally.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Are these mid-season transfers?  With the one-time waivers, are they eligible to play 2nd semester?  I'd assume they'd have to go through the process very quickly if they're going to play second semester, as I believe schools start maybe next week.

I think the earliest either of them could play for a new team is next season. My understanding is that a player cannot suit up for two teams in the same season.

Thanks, that would make sense.

At this point, is either one a lose?

Agree

Would love to get Burnett. He was one that stung for me when we didn't make the cut. Hopefully the dialogue is still open.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Does he have a jump shot that he can get off in traffic?

Absolutely SHOCKED that bringing in 2 highly regard guard transfers, in addition to Burnett and ANOTHER top 50 guard in Micah Peavy, didn't work out for them

So TTech loses the least of their studs to transfer and keeps the best. I wish things would work out that badly for MU.

To be fair, Burnett was the highest ranked and has ceiling of them all. He's been playing better than Burton too.  Other than McClung, I'd imagine Burnett is probably the last one Beard would want to lose

Stevie Mitchell scoring:

He's the one I'm most excited about. Love the pace he plays at. Always seems under control and seems like he can score at all 3 levels. Aidoo's got the insane length and size and enough athleticism, but I think he'll take some time to contribute. Kam seems like a solid player but I'm not expecting a ton out of him originally.

New Rivals rankings for 2021

Aidoo moved up 71 spots to #33.  Not an error, 71 spot increase.

Mitchell is #82
Jones is #150

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Well how do you do,  Mr. Aidoo?

I was expecting his rankings to jump but not that much. Hopefully he lives up to the billing

If many people here have their say, there will be a new coaching staff this spring, so no guarantee he will be lacing em up in Milwaukee.  Just sayin.

Cool to see Aidoo jump in the rankings, wasn't expecting him to go much higher than the 70s based on the highlight reel I saw of him.  That said, incoming recruits are a poor reason to keep a coach.  Just sayin.

I was told that coaching changes are an open topic of conversation so shouldn't verballed recruits be an open topic?

Yes it was a tongue in cheek response.  Should have been in teal.

If Aidoo moves up to No. 1, it will still "prove" Wojo can't get 5-stars because, you know, Aidoo was 100+ when he committed.

Wojo only gets the easy recruits.
