Ryan James from Minnesota 247 being told from a Prior Lake source, decision date of next Wednesday, Nov 20 is the current target announcement date

It seems odd to announce after the signing period .

Just read the thread. Hilarious. A poster is getting on him because 5 days ago he said MN had "no choice" and now he's changed his tune... so the poster thinks he's just throwing out guesses there.. sounds like the cristal bowel

I am with you. Ryan James blows with the wind. Entertaining thread nonetheless

This hasn't changed. It's what he said in the Tipton interview.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Some here won't make it to Nov. 20, so I hope this mope is wrong again.

Nope. Not what he said.

My point was: James is parroting something he heard on IG which has now echo chambered. That the "would like to have a decision by the 20th" idea was just another repeat of this.

Is that better for you? Do I need to have a Perfect transcript? I don't really want to have to watch that thing again.

This is almost certainly what happened RE: this James guy

Dawson's HS teammate has a signing ceremony tmrw AM at the HS (going to North Dakota). Not the type of deal like Theo & McKinley at Champlin Park unfortunately.. but it's only the first day of the early signing period

Could be he doesn't want to over shadow his friend.

Is this Ryan James guy the person who is saying he expects Dawson to commit this month but not before the early signing period closes?

That makes a lot of sense.

How Kansas is still landing 5 stars when they will likely be ineligible for post season play next year, those players' likely only year in the college game, is beyond me. Those bags must be heeeeeeavy!

The 5-stars know that the NCAA will punish Wichita State or Kansas State instead.

I personally feel that Archie Miller has done little of anything as a college coach.  Last year, with a lottery pick and an All Big Ten front court player they failed to even make the NCAA tournament.  Then the lottery pick gets relegated to the G-league.  I would have tremendous doubts as a recruit and as a fanbase on this coach.  He then goes out and gets commitments from two non Top 100 guards.  Lastly, his brother, flesh and blood, is a proven cheater.  Some of the worst and most egregious cheating that has been uncovered in the last 50 years.  You dont think Sean has told Archie how it is that he goes about getting his talent?  Would raise major red flags for me as a fan or administrator.  Hes not making tourneys and hes not getting great talent, how long until he resorts to doing things like his slimy kin? Or is he cheating already and about to land IU on probation n really hot water?

His last 4 seasons at Dayton, he led them to the NCAA Tournament 4 times, won 2 Conference Championships, 2 Conference Tournaments, and led them to the Elite 8.

He's never even put out of whiff of doing anything shady. His brother is completely different human being.

He has commits from 2, top 100 players. And brought in a five star and 2 4 stars this season. Played last season with his Lottery pick playing with an injured shooting hand. Had to redshirt another top 50 recruit due to a leg condition. Played a stretch of games with only 7 scholarship players available.

IU had injuries last year?  You must not have mentioned that yet.

Might want to hire a better training staff with all of these injuries you reference.
