People on this board are ridiculous.  Me have a little fun with some Gopher fans by saying he’s a lock to go to Marquette and then admitting that I really have no clue (because I don’t) turns into #donedeal part 2, me bringing bad juju on Marquette, and me backing down.  I’m sorry I seemed to traumatize some of you.  If I would have known my Tweets were so powerful I would have been more careful.

I personally feel that Archie Miller is not a good coach...

I personally feel that Archie Miller has done little of anything as a college coach.  Last year, with a lottery pick and an All Big Ten front court player they failed to even make the NCAA tournament.  Then the lottery pick gets relegated to the G-league.  I would have tremendous doubts as a recruit and as a fanbase on this coach.  He then goes out and gets commitments from two non Top 100 guards.  Lastly, his brother, flesh and blood, is a proven cheater.  Some of the worst and most egregious cheating that has been uncovered in the last 50 years.  You dont think Sean has told Archie how it is that he goes about getting his talent?  Would raise major red flags for me as a fan or administrator.  Hes not making tourneys and hes not getting great talent, how long until he resorts to doing things like his slimy kin? Or is he cheating already and about to land IU on probation n really hot water?

While I appreciate that Dawson is keeping things close to the vest, it sure is maddening when you are looking for updates. Seems none of the mailbags had an update yet.

This Thursday, Guru will either have a heart attack, or a heart attack.  I predict it will be a heart attack.

Some people said guru will have a heart attack either way on Thursday. So I took that to mean there was some update on him making a decision?

How Kansas is still landing 5 stars when they will likely be ineligible for post season play next year, those players’ likely only year in the college game, is beyond me. Those bags must be heeeeeeavy!

Or kids don’t care, playing one year and the tournament doesn’t mean anything to them.

I think if you asked most 1 and dones they'd say the Tournament means quite a bit to them.

It might, but then again there are people also out there telling these one and dones to shut it down end of season...don’t risk injury....post season not worth it.  Whether they listen or not only time will tell.

How often does that happen?  I can remember that happening once...well, since the one and done era started really.  And the kid came back and played because he wanted to be part of a potential March run.

Although you wonder if a post-season ban could be seen as beneficial to some of these lottery-potential one-and-dones.  They can play for a talented team where wins/losses over the year don't mean much, so there will be more opportunity to showcase their talents without much of a concern for the scoreboard.  Plus, that's one+ fewer games where they can end up injured before the draft.

I'm sure there are quite a few one-and-done players who love post-season play, but there are probably just as many who aren't too concerned with it.  If they all were focused on winning a national championship, you'd never have a Ben Simmons at LSU or, lets face it, a Henry Ellenson at Marquette.

Same source that helped him conclude MU wouldn't be in his top 7??
