Yes, MU is in his final 7...great, now land him, that's what matters. Anyway, no one here understands recruiting?? We just saw it with Hawkins...Now, I'd have rather had Osa then him, but kids don't like being "recruited over" like that. They want to be your priority. Multiple players at one position does scare off recruits. It happens all the time. And it's not because they don't think they can't beat that other player out, it's because they feel jilted.

If only you detested mediocrity in your own posts....

Hawkins and Oso were the same type of player, tall wings with a good handle as opposed to being a stretch four like Garcia, and you're hardly being recruited over when you're the higher ranked player and are taken after the other player.  It's at least plausible that getting Garcia might make Lewis feel recruited over, but not the other way around.

I'm on record as saying I loved the Osa commit...look it up. But I will NOT be happy about it. IF IF it costs them Garcia. We don't know that it will..I hope not..I'd LOVE to finish this class with 2 of.. Davis, Garcia, Hoggard, Suggs or the Canadian kid.

Got to see Dawson go up against one of our kids Sunday night... always interesting to see guys in a variety of competitions.

As usual, his parents were in the gym. Would be easy for them to slide over to Milwaukee to check out a lot his games. MU makes a lot of sense for him!

Bottom line is both guys know they are top.priorities for us at different positions......so they will get every opportunity to make a big impact as a frosh.

Semantics...if you aren't in his final 7, you obviously have ZERO chance of getting him. And the ONLY reason they wouldn't be in his final 7 would be the Osa commit..That would absolutely infuriate me..

Listen sunshine...here's the deal...let's say MU only has one scholarship to give yet..and it's between Osa and Garcia...Are you telling me you're going to take Osa, just because he'd commit first, or are you going to wait another month or two and see what Garcia does.

I will dumb this down for you(and others) even more...let's say you have this cute girl that is interested in you and is willing to commit to you...however, you also know that this really hot chick is possibly obtainable, but she isn't ready to commit to you yet, but she is definitely interested. Now, sure, you can "settle" for the cute chick, that is a wonderful chick in her own right, but you also know the one you REALLY want and the one you'd be happiest with is the really hot chick that's interested in you.

You can "take" the cute chick right now because she wants you and is ready to commit, but that possibly takes you out of the running for the hot chick. However, if you wait until the hot chick is ready to commit, you might end up getting exactly what you want, and if you don't ultimately end up with her, what have you lost?? There's other "cute" chicks that would commit to you. Or, you could just stay single for awhile, wait things out and perhaps land another "hot" chick later on after she breaks up with her previous boyfriend. Seems like a no brainer to me, but...of course no one would agree with me, because well...that would go against everything anyone believes in even though the analogy is 100% SPOT on.
