That's a pretty accurate scout on Tyrese, from what I've seen.  In Scoop parlance, he is a "pogo stick" type player.

Don't forget that Coach Bennett was a grad assistant at MU for one year under Crean.  In my conversations with Nick he has a lot of respect for MU.  Having him in Tyrese's ear can't hurt our chances unless cousin Tony comes calling.

Would be nice for the coaches to offer and lock this young man up now!  Early verbal would be awesome, bring him into the family now

MU is still in the mix, however, God saw to it that the two people who were lead on the recruitment, Carrawell and Nelson, moved on to greater glories. So as of now God has led him to Huggy Bear....

Garcia opinions seem to be all over the place. Corey Evans of Rivals believes Garcia will not commit anywhere until Spring. Ryan James of Minnesota 247 does not believe Marquette will be in Garcia's final 7. Garcia retweeted it to add to the suspense. That would be quite surprising to me., As I don't see other recent commits as a factor in Garcia's recruitment. A few of the other sports media people from competing schools, are also thinking, hoping that due to a few front court commits, Marquette is no longer in the mix. Brian Snow said the other day his guess was that Marquette is in the lead. It will be interesting.

Semantics...if you aren't in his final 7, you obviously have ZERO chance of getting him. And the ONLY reason they wouldn't be in his final 7 would be the Osa commit..That would absolutely infuriate me..

I get all of that.  You are saying that MU shouldn't have taken / pushed off the Osa commit because they potentially could have had a 1/7 shot at Garcia?

If Marquette lost Garcia due to the Osa commit, it signals Garcia thinks he can't beat out Osa. That either says a lot about Osa or a lot about Garcia.

That said, I think Marquette at least makes the seven.

Happy to have Osa.......Garcia is good enough that it shouldn't factor in .....if it does best of luck to him at North Carolina or Indiana where I'm sure there will be no other quality players that he will have to compete with.....
