Two unofficial visits today. Marcus and Max Zegarowski --- younger twin brothers of Michael Carter-Williams. They also visited UW.

Maybe we consulted with Creighton marketing department on these recruits.

I decided to start a new thread to track overall recruiting efforts in a single place as it has become challenging for me to keep track of the various candidate threads.  I know some of you guys follow this very closely so I'm simply trying to bring a little mid-summer organization to it.  So as I see it here's how things stand now.  Please feel free to correct any of my mistakes.

'17-'18 (Four available scholarships)

Ikechukwu Eke - PF OFFERED/OFFICIAL VISIT 6/11

Bruno Fernando - C Offered

'18-'19 (Three available scholarships)

If you please, I'd like to keep this to guys we're truly recruiting today.  Sure we gave an offer to guys like Cassius Winston but that ship has sailed.  I also left off Phillip Flory as I seem to remember hearing that relationship ended.  I'd also like to avoid some 'shot in the dark' Top 5 prospect that we've 'offered' but really aren't actively recruiting because he's simply going to Kentucky or Duke and Wojo already knows that.  I've also not assumed any additional scholarship availability due to transfer or early departure.  Any thoughts you guys have as to Wojo's pecking order is appreciated.  Thanks for the input and/or corrections.

Okay guys, I've started the clean-up process.  Please take a look at the revision and help me out.  Again, the criterion is active recruitment of a guy we truly have a relationship with and a chance at landing.  Let's again strike guys we haven't shown interest in for many months.  And I took the liberty to eliminate the '16 class and added the one available scholly to '17.  If things change, we'll adjust.  I sincerely appreciate everyone's continuing help.  With your input I'd like this 'real time' accurate this weekend.  Thanks.

I would definitely add Donnie Tillman to 2017, he's planning to visit officially before too long. I would also add Xavier Tillman, who was here for Madness last year and routinely mentions Marquette interest. We did offer David Beatty last week, which came as a bit of a surprise as we haven't been pursuing many guards of late (haven't heard us mentioned with Eastern or Wright in awhile). Could also add Terrence Lewis...Marquette is definitely aware of him though I think he's a secondary target. Being local, the longer his recruitment goes the more serious we may get. I think you could also add Jordan Tucker, though it might be early.

For 2018, we offered both Race Thompson and Tim Finke this week. Could be uphill battles as Thompson's dad Darrell played RB for the Gophers and Finke's brother is at Illinois.

We have enough offers to fill a football team roster.

Thanks brew.  I'll work on it.  Any eliminations?

While I believe all three have offers, I'm not sure how actively we're pursuing Eastern, Wright, or Culver. Don't remember us being mentioned with any of the three in quite awhile.

Update #2.  Let's work to keep this current with info.  Of course some kids are higher priorities than others.  Heck, we add any more and Ners will want to be on the list!  As you guys hear things let gets this pared down to reality, especially for the current 4 slots for the new Senior crop that might be giving us a verbal in the next couple months.

The minimum required to get to a few good men.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I don't like the Thompson family because they make everything about Race.

Wojo will get enough players to have 13 scholarships filled, but Scoop will wring their hands about how he did not get 100% of the recruits he offered...thus a "failed recruiting effort."
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Agreed.  Coach Wojo is doing an excellent job recruiting.  This will be an exciting year for Marquette because it is loaded with great shooters.

I agree. Lets see how they do in games. Expectations are one thing, practice play is another and on the court play is reality.
