Is Wojo still recruiting Desmond Polk at all?  Havent heard much about his name

I have to believe he's a very low priority if a priority at all.

RJ Davis getting the best of Jalen Suggs-

This is also Jalen Suggs, winning award of top Male Athlete at Steph Curry's camp. Both would be great gets for MU.

I think he's a fallback type option. If we miss on Burnett, Suggs, Davis, Hoggard, & Nix they probably give him a more serious look.

Have seen him play, no where near BE level

This guy is skinny as hell, but this is one of the best moves I've seen from a 7 footer ever.

That kind of agility/handles by a 7 footer is biologically kind of crazy.

Yeah, watching this and his other highlights, you can see a lot of Durant in his game.  I'd sign up all 175 pounds of him.

Suffice to say,  Holmgren is a 5-star for a reason. I'd love to see him in Blue and Gold, but there will be a long line for his services.

And a short wait for his move to the NBA (if he doesn't just start there)
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Very well written research report on Daishen Nix. MU not mentioned however I believe (rampant speculation )there are some compelling items at play that may work in our favor.

What is interesting about an unranked kid from Wisconsin becoming a walk on at UWM? I swear they get four of those a year.

Also, why does this belong in the recruiting thread?

Because he was looking at a similar opportunity with MU. Phenom Club Teammate of Patrick Baldwin.

Gilmore had a shot at a D1 scholarship. Not high-major, but a decent get for a walk-on and I know Marquette did at least kick the tires. I don't think it will have any bearing on Baldwin's recruitment, but there is at least a marginal MU connection.

The Sultan

Yeah I really doubt that Baldwin is going to base his college decision on where his AAU teammate walks on.  But regardless, the guy could turn into a decent player.  Or more likely he becomes another Flory or Schlundt.

This well written research report outlines some of Wojos recruiting strategy in regard to recruiting members of Baldwin's teammates.

That was written almost a year ago. Since that time, Beekman committed to UVa, Wojo doesn't seem to be interested in Polk any longer, and Sibley left the state and may not come back with Lewis on the roster.

So if this ever was actually a real strategy, it seems to not be one any longer.
