Which is why he'll latch onto Jakobe all the way through his non-existent professional career.

Some other Marquette recruiting visits with 2020 prospects expected this week: Jabari Sibley, Jabri Abdur-Rahim, Elijah Hutchins-Everett, Matt Cross, Zed Key. #mubb

Some new names in EHE (top 100 big man) and Key (3 star, 6-7, SF?).  Cross has been linked to MU for a bit.  6-6 SF, 3 star.

I like that he is performing well at the large school high school level as a freshman and sophomore. Looking forward to his growth this summer.

Kinda down on the big white boys from northern wisconsin that dominate but then never seem to march their hype.  Mu n Uw and other have been bitten by that bug oh so many times.  Dominating 5'8" dairy farmers not the same, ayna?

One of those is OK as long as he is 10-11 in the pecking order.

Cain/Bailey bring those same attributes plus basketball abilities.

@jakeweingarten: Marquette has extended an offer to five-star sophomore Chet Holmgren, a source told @Stockrisers. Has been a hot commodity as of late.

Fingers crossed he's telling him to stay home and play for Wojo!

Probably not but he may be scraping some table scraps onto Wojo's plate at some point. Which I'm perfectly happy to see him accept.

Either way, I'm happy to see any of the players Wojo is recruiting field offers from blue bloods. It sucks, but it's an affirmation that Wojo is after the right kinds of players. (wait for the yeah, but... coming shortly)

New grad transfer name I hadn't seen us associated with before, Drexel forward Alihan Demir. Averaged 14.8 ppg/6.4 rpg for the Dragons. 6'9" 230 lb player that can step out to the arc. Goodman ranks him at #29 for grad transfers.
