New arena, winning, big crowds and a very good Bucks team is going to help big time. This is time to make some hay off the new joint.

Absolute predictions many times make the author look silly........

I mean Dwight Buycks played in the NBA .......
Jon Leuer is still playing....
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Look at the poster.  You're wasting your time.  He likes guys like Brian Butch.  Those guys who go from McDonald's All Americans to McDonald's employees after 5 year college careers.

Anyway, enjoy Joey for the next 2.5 years.  He's doesn't have the ceiling Hank had when Hank was at MU, but he's a much better shooter and makes better decisions with the ball than Hank did.  Hank was a far, far better ball handler and better rebounder.  NBA teams drafted him on potential with the assumption that they would be able to develop what were good fundamentals on his jumper into good results with that jumper and it never happened.

Joey is already a better shooter and defender than Hank.  Joey will never be a lockdown defender at the next level but he's very smart and has good enough length to be sufficient.  When Markus and Sam are gone and him and Koby are the focuses of the offense we'll get to enjoy one last season out of him before he's a late first rounder and has a decade + long NBA career.  He's somewhere between Hank and Lauri Markkanen.

That's a wide range but I agree with all of this.

I wonder what you'd have said about butler, crowder, lazar, McNeal, Matthews, Buycks, Wilson, djo, and blue. Let's be honest of all the players that we've had make the nba in recent years, not many have looked the part early on.

Midway through his first year at Marquette, some were calling Jimmy a waste of a scholarship.

I wouldn't argue with this thesis at all, and I obviously hope it's the case.

Same. I miss his cryptic bunker statements.

Helps that Dwayne Killings was coaching at temple and sort or from around that area

I think we have another coach who is exactly from that area....and I'm not sure that Amherst, MA is that close to Baltimore, MD

Had to wait awhile but he definitely has some bounce. Weird shot but that's fine. I assume that will be the last part of his game that develops since he's coming in as a slasher/defender.

Athletic,  well built, ugly shot.  I project him to fulfill the Sacar Anim role.  With McEwen, Elliott,  and Torrence in the fold I think that will be ok.

Has a college ready body which is really good, will not see much action next year if Howard stays, so he has 2 years to show improvement in his game,
which is fine.  Guard Markus in practice everyday, will make him a better defender and will get on the court because of that.  Big guard or small forward.

He definitely dips low on his jumpers in this clip, and starts with the ball below his shoulders.  That probably won't fly (literally) against Big East competition, but I don't recall his shot in earlier highlight videos being quite so slow, so maybe these are outliers.  Certainly like his build and hops, though.

Like Anim, looks like the kind of guy who's hard to take off the floor. Seemed to be in the background of every highlight while the people around him changed.

Remember the name Jeffery Brazziel C/O 2022. Ranked #1 in wisconsin, super long and athletic

Yeah, that shot is gonna need to be reworked. No way that low of a release point is gonna work at the college level.

Agreed, especially considering the Team USA camp invites. They normally don't go out to those ranked in the 100s.
