That is quite an interesting collection of schools.

Very interesting. I keep forgetting that BC is DI in basketball and football.

Thanks for your thoughts, on the other side do you have any feel for the most likely to land here at MU at this point?

Not at all.  Just a gut that MU will sign a couple players this fall who will be different from the 4 I commented on.

With that said, I have no worry about this staff's recruiting and their ability to bring in players who can play.

I think we have a very good shot at landing Desmond Polk

Haven't offered him yet so we will have to see.

I don't know what level of player Carter Gilmore is but his older sister plays basketball for Western Illinois.  My daughter was on a couple relay teams with her in track the season before last.  If he has the same competitiveness as his sister, he is worth a look.  She simply refused to lose at anything.

I think we can cross off Nobal Days if we haven't already

Saw him earlier this season against New Trier and was not impressed in the slightest. He looked really bad that game.

Reclassifying.

Yep, dropping one shoe, then we all wait for the other I'm guessing.

Well, there's someone on campus now who Nico can chat with regarding his personal experience with that.

I'm guessing he also is familiar with the Arizona landscape.

Well, kind of - a couple of years ago, they were 0 for the ACC (both sports).

I have seen Darlinstone play live. He is Greg Elliot 2.0.  Long ,very active with a high motor and is great in transition. Nice to see MU as one of the early schools in the picture.

Hadn't heard of him before, currently no ranking on either of 247's system. Only offers listed are us, Kansas State, and Binghamton. Bruce Weber has done a great job of identifying underrated high school talent so that gives me some hope, as does UNC Eagle's description.

He's gotta learn the name of the school doe

The videos i saw if him are quite underwhelming tho.  Terible shooting technique n not overly athletic from what i saw.  With that said MUs issues the last few years has not been wojos recruiting

Symir Torrence (2020) of Vermont Academy is playing well this spring and summer.  My question is if Marquette misses out on their top 2019 guard prospects (Carton, Watts and Mannion (if he reclassifies)), will they try to get Torrence to reclassify to 2019?

I've only watched him on some game video, but really like some of his attributes at the point guard spot, plus he can hit the perimeter shot.

I do find it interesting that you seem most interested in posting information about players MU has never recruited or that they are no longer recruiting for one reason or another.

Most of us read this thread to,learn more about the guys who MU is currently involved with to some degree.

Maybe you should post the Days article on Buckyville?

Amended post to clearly identify that it is about Nobel Days. Days lists MU among his offers.  While it appears that we are not among his more active suitors a lot can happen between now and November. For example it is not known if Ike will fully recover from his back surgery.
