Just meant having a legit banger for a PF again. Don’t expect trailer threes to be raining from morrow

I never realy saw Lazar as a banger.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

That would be something if they could surpass the 93-94 team's frontcourt depth!  It had two future NBA players coming off the bench.

You thinking of Chris Crawford and Amal McCaskill?

Hopefully Wojo is starting to focus on Jalen Johnson for 2020 before the blue bloods really get to him, it would be very hard to get him but he was in Madison on Saturday to see us blow out the Vadgers on their court. Alex Antetokounmpo was at the game as well and he is gaining a ton of hype, much more than Kostas got. They were both on unofficials to visit Madison and the blowout loss can only hurt their chances with them and look better for us. I hope we go after both of them and part of me wishes we had gone after Kostas as well. Imagine adding Johnson and A. Antetokounmpo in 2020.

Why? He’s a 6-10 RS Freshman with a lot of potential and athleticism. I’m not mad that he’s not at MU but he looks like he can turn into a very good player by the time he’s a senior and he would have given us a better shot at his younger brother Alex who is turning into a coveted player in 2020.

Saw that but at this point UW seems to have made him more of a priority than we have

Honestly we don't know that at all.  I trust Wojo knows what he is doing.

Wojo passed on Kostas. That left a spot open that eventually went to Harry Froling.  I'd rather have Harry.  I have no idea if Alex is good or not.  I'll wait and see before passing judgement on how hard Wojo should be recruiting him.

How did you reach this conclusion about him being “coveted”?

Gonna let others answer why taking a chance on a partial qualifier who didn’t start on his D2(?) HS team is usually a poor idea

He was a 4* recruit according to 247 lol but LH just said the spot that Kostas could have had went to Froling and I’m happy about that. I still believe Kostas turns into a very good college player though.

Maybe “coveted” is the wrong word for me to use but his hype is growing by the day. Giannis himself said Alex is gonna be even better than he is one day, and he said he’s got the most talent and potential of the 4. I watched a few videos of him today and he’s very clearly a talented player who already can shoot the 3 with a fluid stroke. He’s 6’5 right now as a sophomore and starting on Dominican (unlike Kostas who didn’t start as a senior like BPB said) and he should grow to 6’10 by the time he’s a college freshman. I agree it is a bit early to buy into his hype but he’s clearly showing signs of being a young Giannis.

Obviously it’s only gonna show good clips and not whatever flaws he has but here’s a new highlight video from a few days ago:

Giannis said the same things about Kostas being better than he is someday a couple years ago.  I'll put a heck of a lot of money on Giannis being the best o all of the brothers at basketball.

There is no such thing as a partial qualifier anymore. Kostas was a NONqualifier

Alex’s “hype” isn’t growing by the day. Sounds like a BR story tricked the ube dude posting about Alex

Yeah I doubt any of his brothers will be better than him and didn’t realize he said that about Kostas too. I doubt any basketball player on Earth will be better than Giannis within a few years.

Alexis already has an offer from Green Bay. So there is evidence that someone at the next level is keen on his talents.

To put things in perspective ,Kostas is averaging 5.9 ppg 3.9 boards 1.7 blocks 0.7 assists and 0.4 steals pregame on 60.5% shooting with Dayton in his freshman year . He has started a few games and had some double doubles. He does get in foul trouble which limits his playing time. However he is turning out to be a decent college player so far .

I would like to see us sign Alexis as he appears to be on a solid trajectory upward.Giannis is an exceptional NBA player. Thananis is a border line NBA player so we know the bloodlines are strong .

Anyone think Wojo goes hard after Connor Crabtree to come in next year as a tall PG?  Anyone know anything about that situation?

I think its easier to appear to be making a kid more of a priority because he is on campus and at games when the kid lives in the same town and doesnt even have a drivers license yet!!
