Yea, but here's where people that don't understand the system will really not be happy.  If we go 2-0 this week, and Kansas goes 2-0 this week, there's a (small IMO) possibility that they pass us (they would most definitely close the gap).  We are past the point where just winning automatically move us up, it also depends on what teams around us do.

Kansas only plays once this week so I think 2-0 means we're safe from them

You're right.  Didn't realize that the K-State game was next Monday not Sunday.  Assume that was an ESPN choice, as I can't imagine that both schools would want a turn-around that quick?

Another week of a very insular top 25. Only 8 teams in the others receiving votes category with 4/8 of those receiving 2 or less votes. 7/8 received 32 or less votes. Seems like we have a very well established top 26.

Women's team drops to 11.

And they dropped to 11 in the Coaches' Poll also.  They had been 7 in that one so they dropped one spot more in that poll than the AP poll.  But I attribute that to the fact that Oregon State beat #2 Oregon last night so they moved ahead of MU.  That's one reason I really dislike the fact that each poll comes out on different day for Women's Bball.

Of more concern to me though is the fact that MU dropped from a 2 seed last week to a 4 seed this week in Charlie Creme's bracketology projections for ESPN.  There are two factors in play here I think - a bad loss at St. John's and upsets of top 10 teams by Miami and Oregon State who moved ahead of MU in the projections now (Miami also has a win over MU - a game they really should have won).  A 4 seed projection makes me worry that they're way too close to getting dropped to a 5 seed which means not hosting games at the Al.  They may have to win out to have a good shot at hosting.
