Kolek planning to go pro
Wedding in Ireland this summer. Looking for flight info. Options out of Indy:- American- Delta- United- Aer Lingus- Air CanadaAny suggestions? Really looking into comfort, amenities, quality. These all have prices about the same. Planning economy/economy plus
I’d echo the quality drop in Aer Lingus, they seem to have positioned themselves as a discount TATL carrier like IcelandAir or Norwegian.Surprised to see the American love. They are fine but I’d consider them a clear 3rd behind United and Delta, especially internationally I’ve had some nice experiences with Air Canada through Toronto as well
Don't be afraid to look for business class. I always check the cheapest business class and often find it's not that much more than economy. And it's just so much more comfy for longer flights.
Usually go to Vegas for March Madness but this year flights are $600 RT. A couple friends and I are considering heading to an Illinois Sportsbook for sweet 16/elite 8 weekend.I can't find a ton of information online but it looks like BetRivers in Des Plaines might be the best option. Walking distance from some decent hotels and the book looks nice in pictures. Has anyone been? If so, how was your experience? Any sportsbooks you'd recommend instead? The MGM property in Biloxi, MS looks pretty cool but factoring in hotel prices it would be more expensive than Vegas.
Where are you coming from?
.Rivers is one of the nicest casinos I have been to outside of Las Vegas.. I have not stayed at the hotel.
That's great to hear. It looks nice in pictures but I've definitely been tricked by photos before. We'll spend most of our time in the bars/casino so I'm not all that concerned about hotel quality.
Milwaukee area, but my friends are located elsewhere.
Heading to the states tomorrow can't believe I paid 99 euro for a test
As long as you are driving to Chicago, have you checked the airfares out of OHare and Midway?
PCR or antigen?
Whatever morning you have time, be at Buffalo Trace around 9:45am. It's less than 40 minutes from Lexington. You'll be able to snag one of ETH/ER/Weller/Blantons per person at MSRP. Then you can buy as much Buffalo Trace or Bourbon Cream as you like.Goodwood Brewing in Frankfort was a good spot for food and sports on televisions if you want to hit that up after Buffalo Trace.Lexington, the distillery district is cool. Lots of food and booze options. Joe Bologna's in Lexington will have the pasta, along with every other Eye-talian specialty. If Kentucky Native Cafe is still open for the season, check it out.
Thanks for all your help. I hit Buffalo Trace on Sunday. I ended up with 2 bottles of ER, 2 bottles of BT and 2 bottles of Bourbon Cream. Great recommendation![/list]
I may go to the Keys for 10 days in Jan now that my conf in Australia was canceled. Is it worth the money to dive there as opposed to snorkeling? I'm not much of a fisherman but that seems like more of a sure thing.
Depending on where you are talking about. Pennekamp? Snorkeling is fine. Islamorada or other places further down? Diving is better. Plus personal preference. Snorkeling easier, cheaper, You can obviously observe better diving. Turtles and nurse sharks tuck under ledges and are easier to see on air.Plus there are a couple wrecks you can only get to diving. I’m not a big wreck diver fan, but most are.Let me know where and I’ll see what insight I can provide. I’ve never dove near Key West so no knowledge about that area. If you are in Islamorada, go to Lorelei’s for sunset dinner and drinks. Have a bushwhacker.
