I can't believe I am going to slightly defend MLF here, but...

If he hadn't stupidly said "establish the run", the rest of his point wouldn't necessarily have been wrong. If he had simply said something along the lines of, "we're going to call the play that we think has the greatest chance of success and the opponent was in a 2 high safety look" he wouldn't look like quite as big a fool.

It always surprises me it seems like MLF had more faith putting the ball in Malik Willis' hands than Jordan Love's.

Eh, he went high and pulled up. Like in week one with the bullsht 'putting his weight on the QB' it's a call that pure football fans would prefer not be called, but it was borderline by the rules the league wants enforced.

Would be nice to see roughing only when a QB ends up on the ground
