I'm seeing hammy for Caleb. Hopefully that's the case.

Dodged a bullet. When the injury happened, and then seeing the reaction to it, I thought for sure it was either an ACL or an Achilles. Hammies can be tricky, but usually just a multiple-week thing rather than a season-ender. Hate to see any team lose its QB, so I'm glad for the Bears.

Even with the rain, it's crazy that they went from 59 points to 3. Agree with others about Ben Johnson not having the kind of day that one usually sees from The Man Who Invented Offensive Football.

Even crazier: The Panthers went from allowing 59 points to allowing 3. The Falcons (especially with Rush starting) are battling the Dolphins for worst-in-league honors. Seeing Atlanta's QB silliness, while Kirk Cousins plays well for Vegas, is something.

I'm glad my team has a really solid backup QB. Of course, Lock has a lot of support, including the best WR in the game and a dominant defense. That obviously makes a huge difference. Darnold reportedly is on track to return next week, but I sure wouldn't rush him back.

Meanwhile, the "genius" sure has gotten spanked out of Jim Harbaugh and Justin Herbert. Not just losing, but doing so to meh teams, and embarrassingly so.

Today's announcing nit: Somebody needs to tell these guys that the clock doesn't stop when the ballcarrier goes out of bounds until the last 2 minutes of the 2nd quarter and the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter. Already this season, several of them have shown they didn't know the rule. Today, Mark Schlereth went on and on that a player should have stayed in bounds with 10 minutes left to keep the clock moving ... even though, as he spoke, viewers could see the clock still moving. D'oh!

If Cooper Rush is playing, the Packers definitely will win easily at Lambeau. Even if he's not, the Packers are highly likely to win easily. GB lucked out with the perfect opponent to play in a short week. According to ESPN, the line is only 7 points. Wow.
